Let's cut to the chase:
An ex player of ours was offered 1K a week to come back. The guy said, make it 2k and I will wash my own kit but on the advice of Gallen we turned the offer down.

I emphasise he was not suggesting that Bowyer should be sacked, he's just making an observation .. BUT, I do wonder what is in the mind of our 'new owners' (if owners they be) re Bowyer's position and his future .. at this time, nothing would surprise me1

As I just said on the transfers thread, whilst it is probably not overly surprising IF (and I didn't see him quoted in that article) Bowyer is delaying signing until Jackson and Marshall are sorted, he didn't mention that as a pre-condition last week. His principal issue last week was apparently getting clarity about the 5 year contract term Southall was purportedly offering.
