But to me they are ex CAFC players and I am curious as to how they do, I have now removed CSKA Sofia and added Motherwell in case Watt signs for them50 clubs seems a little excessive but each to their own.

I have to say that's pretty impressive Paulie. There must be a way you can make some money from collecting this kind of data?0 -

He is probably in the top 5 of Charlton players I have ever seen in terms of pure talent.
One day he will wake up, probably in a gutter, potless, and regret it all.
I follow his career partly rubber knecking the car crash, partly because, deep down I still hope he makes it.18 -

We tend to view/ commoditize footballers as to how they perform as footballers for us and ignore the human element. I would imagine that mental health or perhaps mental/ psychological issues may be an underlying reason why he hasn't fulfilled his potential or perhaps just a lack of desire or motivation that many of us have probably experienced at some point/ throughout our given careers. His just happens to be football.
Never seen him have a bad word for us...in fact the opposite and really wish him well in his future career. Nice to see him still paying Charlton attention.22 -

In years to come perhaps @paulie8290 will get a lift in Watt's mini cab.

I reckon if you don't like threads about particular formers players, here's a idea.. dont click on them6 -
I think he has mental health issues that mean he's not cut out for the professional game at an elite level.
He was outstanding on his day, some flashes of real genius. One of the most watchable players ever for Charlton if not the number 1 in that category
I thought he was destined to leave us for the premiership at one point, but alas he wasn't up to it. By the time we were back in league one he was done.
I recall one game where Watt just flat out refused to pass and tried to score when he could have squared it for Grant for an easier chance. Grant complained to him and Watt just basically snubbed him, turning his back. Grant turned to Robinson and just shrugged like 'how the f**k am I supposed to play with this dude?'
Such a waste.

Like him or loathe him, one thing we can say about him is he loves Charlton and the Charlton fans.

The obsession with this ex player I do find strange - personally though he was good for us and don’t really see why he gets such attention. Anyway each to there own0

I’ve actually got a lot of time for him, loved some of the stuff he did for us.
Ultimately very frustrating and I do hope he finds a base somewhere ... but I guess it’s unlikely based on his track record.1 -

He’s not just a former player, he’s a fascinating/tragic character so I can understand the interest in how he’s getting on.Is he still making terrible YouTube film reviews and playing computer games 24/7?1

I occasionally look to see where former players are now plying their trade and how there getting on mainly the ones that are at local clubs or ones in league 1 or championship so look on these threads to look at former players who moved further afield?
As for Tony I found him a frustrating player to watch because at times he showed minutes of brilliance but afraid that is always what it was and was never a whole match but at a low time for the club he did give us fans a glimmer of hope even if it was only in small doses

He played well for us maybe 5 times?
I get that people are interested in how he does.
He's that rare player that doesn't like working, doesn't enjoy playing and just wanted to make money easily and football was that option for him as he naturally was good at it at a younger age. As he's got older his lack of application has been his undoing.
