A tragic loss. My heart goes out to Seb's brother Ollie and his parents at this awful time.

RIP Seb. You will be dearly missed. Thoughts and good wishes to Ollie and his parents at this horrible time.

I think we can all only aim and aspire to be as loyal and dedicated to CAFC as Seb was.
  • Paul Breen.....really excellent piece of writing - many thanks

    Rest in Peace mate.
met him a few times at away matches. still remember the first time i saw him do the worm after a little persuading from others. real character sorely missed.

I witnessed the worm. I'm so pleased that I did.
  • Every Charlton fan knew of him but many did not actually know him. It is such sad news. Legend, 38 is such a young age to go. I hate this year so much.
  • Reading all the tributes on Twitter and here... I seem to have something in my eye  :'(
  • Only just seen this.  Never knew/spoke to Seb but seen him plenty of times and saw the worm for the first time coming out of Brighton away some years back.  Seemed a real decent fella.  I am devastated for his family, truly awful news and just shed a year for him.  38 is no age at all.  RIP Seb.  Can't wait for this to be over so we can all pay a proper tribute to him at the first game back at The Valley.

We have to use the time to think of something fitting. It still feels unreal.

Not to derail this at all but where is this wall? Outside the station? Not seen it before.
