Discontinued food / drinks you miss

Oxo Crisps. Discontinuing these was a national disgrace.

Chicken rissoles from the 1970's. Can't remember the brand but they were delicious and probably full of banned flavourings. Preceded by a bag of Burton's Potato Puffs then washed down with a glass of luminous green Cresta.

The old RACS store in Eltham High Street used to have a deli, where they sold process cheese that used to be cut from a big block.

Bloody loved that stuff and I'd pay good money to have some again with a homemade Scotch Egg.

I know, it still exists but not as we know it .....

I used to enjoy a Fray Bentos Steak and Kidney Pie.  A couple of years ago, presumably so that they could continue to be sold in the Pound Shops, they effectively took out pretty much all the meat, leaving just the pastry and some gravy with a few indeterminate bits floating around - gross.

Cadbury's Coconut Boost.

Must have been 20-25 years since they pulled it.

Yes, yes yes! What a bar that was!

Far better than the biscuit, & the peanut variants. God knows what Cadburys were thinking when they brought in guarana boost! 🤨

I remember having something called pizza pockets as a kid. Think they went straight into the microwave and was done within a few minutes.

I don't think the skin at the top of my mouth has ever grown back after biting into them lava pouches.

Just warm some precooked meat in the microwave and add it while serving!

Can only be enjoyed on your own!

Bloody hell, that's eerie - bought this earlier this week:

Can confirm - tastes exactly like they did 35 years ago 😁

Texan bars. Loved them as a kid!

The proper Cheeselets, not the terrible modern treelets or whatever they call the fake intruders

Long twigglets. Not the off cuts we have to put up with nowadays.
