Probably the toughest time to be a wicketkeeper/batsman, most county’s have a couple in their starting 11 alone. Obvs can’t get a look in at Kent because of Robinson and cox. Big shame!killerandflash said:https://www.kentcricket.co.uk/news/rouse-retires-from-cricket/?amp=1
Rouse retires. Interesting timing, it seems that he instigated it0 -
To let cricket fans know, after the Boris covid announcements today, Surrey cricket club has now made all 4 days of the Bob Willis trophy game against Middlesex behind closed doors, no spectators at all, this is not good new for football clubs below the prem, Surrey were only going to 12% of capacity and have had to give up the idea.1

Statements like this (Boris) will be up and down. Numbers fall and spectator numbers increase, numbers increase, spectators banned. New norm unfortunatelymsomerton said:To let cricket fans know, after the Boris covid announcements today, Surrey cricket club has now made all 4 days of the Bob Willis trophy game against Middlesex behind closed doors, no spectators at all, this is not good new for football clubs below the prem, Surrey were only going to 12% of capacity and have had to give up the idea.1 -
Maybe in 2 weeks time or a month, spectators will be let in again?msomerton said:To let cricket fans know, after the Boris covid announcements today, Surrey cricket club has now made all 4 days of the Bob Willis trophy game against Middlesex behind closed doors, no spectators at all, this is not good new for football clubs below the prem, Surrey were only going to 12% of capacity and have had to give up the idea.
Tough on clubs like Surrey, having to cancel letting in spectators at such short notice, as presumably they will have hired extra staff and catering for the public0 -
Beginning to wish the season hadn,t started.....0

Dickson is playing for Durham. Not got out yet0
-
On the bright side, no relegation this year.0
-
Kuhn and Robinson will sort us out.0
-
Baffled by that decision, letting him go this season has left us very thin up topStewart said:Dickson is playing for Durham. Not got out yet
A very young side out today, Cox 19, Robinson 21, O'Riordan 22, Qadri 190 -

I have no issue with Kent minimising their financial losses this year, giving the youth a chance to develop. Both approaches should make us stronger next year.1
-
Going along nicely now 120/3
Robinson 51*Kuhn 41*1 -
Kent currently 270-5, Robinson made 78, Kuhn still there on 117, a welcome return to form0
-
Kent 303/5
Kuhn 124*Me 36*4 -

Kent 387 and 14-2 (DBD out for 5 and Leaning for 6)
Essex 2980 -
Leaning looks a good signing 😬😬0

I'm sure Surrey will sign a few more bowlers to add to Topley and OvertonBriston_Addick said:

Sussex go top with a team of kids (plus Claydon)0
-
Kent 95-6
Jordan Cox is still in - 29 off 114 balls (including 3 fours and a six)0 -
100-7 now
Makes a change from a couple of years again when we were terrible in the 1st innings then clawed it back in the second...4
