From 9-10 behind Selby played some brilliant snooker to go 12-10 up, like he played when he won his world titles, then Noppon came back to 12-12, but 1 mistake from Noppon in the final frame and a brilliant century got the job done
I was hoping to put the quarter final matches and semi final matches on here, unfortunately there is still no update even tho the quarter final matches were supposed to start at 5pm lol(in fact we still dont know the full line up for the quarter final as one of the previous matches we dont have a result for) thats how bad the scoring is for Q School this year lol.
I can confirm Alfie Burden, Robbie McGuigan, Rory Mcleod, Stephen Craigie, Sam Baird, Hammad Miah and Josh Thomond are all out of Q School 1.
The quarter final is
Lee Walker vs Jamie Jones Simon Blackwell vs Ben Mertens Patrick Wallace vs John Astley Peter Devlin vs Thor Chuan Leong Farakh Ajaib v Leo Fernandez Robert James or Jamie Curtis-Barrett v Simon Lichtenberg Fan Zhengyi v Liam Graham Michael White v Antoni Kowalski
So all of those players are or were 2 wins away from a 2 year tour card, they have probably won it by now, we just dont have the results yet lol
Lee Walker 4-1 Jamie Jones Simon Blackwell 4-0 Ben Mertens John Astley 4-0 Patrick Wallace Peter Devlin 4-2 Thor Chuan Leong Leo Fernandez 4-1 Farakh Ajaib Simon Lichtenberg 4-0 Robert James Fan Zhengyi 4-1 Liam Graham Michael White 4-3 Antoni Kowalski
Gutted that Mertens and McGuigan are out of Q School 1, but McGuigan still has 2 more chances and Mertens has 1 more opportunity
seems like its not just a issue with getting results, but is actually an issue with starting matches and there are some matches that have still not started.
Was always going to be an issue playing 4 rounds in 1 day
Fan Zhengyi the 19 year old from China who dropped of the tour this season is straight back on and has another chance to make a name for himself with a 2 year tour card.
Michael White still has 2 opportunities to qualify
I gotta be honest I don't know much about Peter he is 23 and from East London, his first time on the pro tour and looking forward to seeing how he gets on
Murphy sneaks one, Noppon makes the error towards the end of the frame. Could this be a big turning point 8-4, Murphy needs to win the next to put the pressure on.
On the other table it looks like going 3-1 Allen, going swiftly blink and you will miss it. I am watching the main one though could be a big win for Noppon.
Clarke just pinched it after needing 3 snookers. Played some great shots.
Thank you! i had the live score up but was watching Murphy match, on my phone lol always some effort getting more than 2 snookers, hence why i was a bit premature with a false update
To be fair, you did say 'looks like going 3-1 Allen' so that wasn't false, with three snookers needed it certainly did look like it.
What happened in the McGill match? Just seen a bit of a commotion & the ref is having to calm them down?
Its all kicked off
Clarke has got in McGill eyeline a couple of times on shots.
McGill has complained about it then when Clarke won the last frame apparently he smirked at McGill although I didnt see it myself but people on twitter saying he did Clarke then went for a toilet break and McGill chased him outside(I saw McGill run after him) something happened when they got outside not sure what tho.

John Astley has 1 more opportunity in Q School 3
Prepare for some long games on tour next year Lee Walker has regained his tour card, like Fan Zhengyi he only dropped of at the end of this season
Again like Fan Zhengyi and Lee Walker this is an immediate return to the tour for Simon
Leo has 1 more opportunity in Q School 2

Kyren Wilson 3-1 Martin Gould
Round 2
1st Session(Mid Session Interval)
Neil Robertson 2-2 Barry Hawkins
Not the ideal start for Robertson

Round 2
1st Session
Neil Robertson 5-3 Barry Hawkins

Ding will be disappointed its only 7-5 and not 8-4 as he should have won the opening frame of the day

Thats why Jan had a word back with both players
