Selby very pissed off with Ronnie. Said he was disrespectful and was playing mind games. Selby gone down in my estimations
Can u disagree
He went for every shot tonight, wasnt bothered about playing safe, and didn't really look like he cared for about 5 frames
And still won!!!!
Doesn't mean he wasnt being disrespectful
He got away with it so much.
4/5 times he went for stupid shots missed and the balls ran safe, all it would have taken is one of those times a red left on and it would have been a different story
I only watched the deciding frame but listened to Ronnie's interview afterwards. Very revealing & I'd advise you to listen to it if you didnt catch it at the time.
Basically said his cue action had gone & was like a golfer who kept driving into the rough & having to get the ball back in play anyway he could. Even said that at 16-14 he decided to stand closer to the table (resting his left hip against the table more). Never heard the like before. Golfers are always blaming their swing or putting stroke......not heard a snooker player blame their action before.
I love Ronnie O'Sullivan. So down to earth & a natural talent. Looks like he might have the "yips" atm though.
He has been moaning about his cue action all tournament, its rubbish
A player with the yips doesnt make the final and make 11 centuries on the way
10-7 O'Sullivan. Not a great day's play. O'Sullivan is struggling and Wilson took a while to settle. From 8-2 down Wilson must be happy to still be in the match but it could have been 9-8. I think O'Sullivan will probably go up a gear if he has to but at least Wilson is involved now.
Ronnie is going to become world champion for a 6th time, having never really got into top gear the entire tournament. Frightening how good he is really & I guess it adds fuel to his comments the other day.
I don't like him as a person & think he's a bit of a twat, but he is better than the rest by a long way
This final is a bit of a non-event. Wilson could have struck a blow if he'd pinched the second to go 10-9 but O'Sullivan has played very solidly since then and Wilson's weaknesses have been exposed. I am sure he will learn from this but in terms of cue ball control he is being outclassed.

Indeed he is. I still believe that if Davis ,Hendry and Ronnie at their peak all played in the same era he would come a poor 3rd. His mental strength compared to the other two could not have been strong enough. Davis and Hendry at their best would have beaten him more times than not.

poor form @paulie8290, just caught up and to not do updates on the final because Selby lost. Pathetic
I had a busy weekend, saw the end of the Ronnie match whilst playing pool. Such drama and was well happy he beat Selby. I assume the opposite to how Paulie felt, i didn't come on here and gloat like he most certainly would have either.... Selby to moan about Ronnies tactics/gamesmanship how ironic, what a poor loser. Its probably down to their rivalry more than most, i dont really agree with Ronnie hit and hopes out of a snooker but i think he got to a point he was like i cant do too much and needed a bit of luck, got away with it but Selby had the run the whole of the match up until then so nevermind.
The final was a bit of an anticlimax, first session neither playing well. Wilson upped his game then on the final day Ronnie played well but also Wilson struggled.
Also Ronnie won his 6th World tilte, absolutely buzzing! wasn't sure it was going to happen as Paulie predicted it would not but glad he has done it. not sure if he will have another in him but you cant argue he had a tough draw: Un-nooh Ding Williams Selby Wilson
Came through a bottom half which was very tough! No gloating from me just pleased he has won another.
Please don't call something pathetic that you dont have a clue abput @johnnybev1987
I did not do updates because as I said I did not watch 1 frame of the final, hard to do updates when you dont watch it.
And not that I need yo explain myself to you or anyone else but my mental health hasn't been great recently and I know I have certain triggers that could possibly make me feel worse and seeing O'Sullivan win that would have been one of them hence why I had a few days of snooker before coming back with the the end of season update
If you don't like the way I do things then please let me know and there will be no updates for next season it will save me alot of time

on the face of it, it did look like you were acting like a child because Ronnie won, but if it triggers you then i apologise. You always do the updates so fair enough if you cant do it one day but it did look like just because Selby lost/Ronnie won.
Hope you are doing better today, i do understand mental health more than most, but i dont broadcast it. I dont understand your situation fully though so i respect that.
Also half following the seniors, hard one to call. Outsider Fernandez (playiing now) Peter Lines (still plays events and with his son so probably going to be sharpish) I do have a treble today backing against fernandez - Doherty, Canavan + Morgan, only based on SB recommendations as i already had a small bet on Fernandez at 25.

Who you going for?
Think Jimmy or Ken will win overall
On paper them or lines should be the ones to beat having just come off the tour. A bit of unknown here which I like not too much form to go on.
