Bolton, Ebbsfleet now Bury (Clubs in trouble thread)

Certainly covers a lot of topics on an official club site does Mr Dale

Finally, In a Total Unrelated Matter

To the BBC

Our Country has its pride deeply rooted from our endeavors in the war and the tenacity and the spirit of the British people, the BBC in its day helped in this keeping moral high when rationing was in place, family’s suffering unimageable pain and spirits were low.

Licence Fees

You now think it prudent to persecute the elderly many who were either in these wars fighting for our great country or have lost loved ones, many being financially challenged, at great risk of COVID and even more so as winter comes, so your thank you to them is make them pay for a License fee, why so the directors can get a pay rise related to profits garnered by screwing the elderly, or for your new executive car, IT IS TRULY DISGUSTING THAT NOT ONLY HAVE THE BBC DONE IT BUT THE GOVERNMENT ALLOWED IT

Proms

If the above was not enough, the Suits that wander the corridors of power at the BBC decide that one of our greatest events, which when watching makes you proud to be British of what we were but certainly not at what were at risk of becoming. It would now seem they have determined we can no longer sing rousing songs that bound our once GREAT COUNTRY together, again it seems the moral compass of the few control the many.ITS WRONG

What’s left to sanction, Hymns or the Bible

Every Country has a past, you can’t eradicate it you have to learn by it.

I missed this story

Two consecutive £2.6m losses BEFORE the current Covid crisis is crazy. Some nonsense salaries being paid in the National League

Somebody say something.

The absolutely nerve of Dale to say 'it seems the moral compass of the few control the many.ITS WRONG'. Considering he's quite happily destroying a football club for his own personal gain he's got a lot of neck writing that. I think when computers eventually become sentient and kill us all it will be because they got sick of being forced to post absolute bollocks like this

I think your right, on the balance of probability he is doing it purely for personal gain.

But what gain?  Like Elliott he rocked up when the till was already emptied.

Like us they don't own the ground or training ground.  Gigg Lane is mortgaged to the eye balls.

He isn't making any effort to actually sell it, in fact Farnell "cock blocked" all serious buyers and favoured a bid from someone with no money.  Sounds familiar.

I really don't understand how Dale is making any money, or sees how he could make any money, out of this.  Certainly not enough to make 2 years of absolute grief worth while.

God knows how he comprehends the concept of Manchester United and Manchester City

Maybe Liverpool and Everton are a better fit.....Although the roles are slightly reversed.

Maybe he hasn't realised that the club he owns is actually in a town called Bury hence the name, and that it's not beyond reason that any new team in the area that includes the word Bury isn't ripping him off (or sewing patches on suits or whatever)

These are becoming rather common!! - Guess he doesnt like Bury AFC

Does he think he’s going to enter Bury back into a league?

They applied to join the national league but it was rejected on the basis they had no manager or players.

That's actually true

Really dont see why he's bothered about staying in control @ Bury, he's basically purchased a popular toy but is left with nothing more than the box.

Either just end the club and put them out of existence altogether or sell to someone who may actually care about putting it back together again

This is what I really don't understand about what he is trying to do.

Indeed mate thats why i ignored the loud mouthed runt, and will continue to do so.

Finally the others are getting up to speed on the HoC threads with what a vile person he is.

Probably put this in the wrong thread, so will repeat here.

Dear Mr Hxxxxx,

Thank you again for your email about football club ownership. I took your concerns up with the Minister responsible, Nigel Huddleston MP, and have now received a reply.

I hope that the final paragraph of the Minister’s letter will be particularly welcome, and I look forward to hearing more information about the review in due course.

If you do have any further queries about this subject or any other, please do not hesitate to be in touch. Thank you once again for raising this with me.

Best wishes,
Helen
