Just logged into my binance account for the first time in a few years and found $500 of VET sat there, going to keep an eye on this thread and have a dabble. Without trawling back through all the recent posts, who should I be looking at right now ? Im a little rusty!
Sold it and stuck on XRP, will forget about it for 6 months and check back in, in the summer.

Can I just remind the good folk of CL that probably the worse time to buy an asset is when the price is at an all time high. Buy low sell high.
I'm a little concerned that some people are going to get their fingers burnt with all this hype.
I agree take the profit and buy again when it dips again in a few weeks

But surely if you’re happy to just forget about it for few months / years it’s not worth trying to trade it (if time is not available)?

I'm sure people that left $500 of bitcoin in a wallet for a few years were not disappointed. If i lose it all then so be it, I didn't even know it was in my binance account until I logged in today for the first time in a couple years.

I invested a couple hundred across various coins back when it had the last big peak. Still have no clue what any of them actually mean or do!

If you would have said that back in 2017 you would have missed out on a lot of money by the time it hit what up until earlier this week was the all time high.

But yes, be careful. Do your own research and use stop losses. Gonna wait for the dip that I think is coming back to $20,000 support and then I’m apeing in with a decent wodge at 20x ready for the big bull run.

There’s much better bets than ripple if you’re thinking 6 months plus. I’d look at more DEFI stuff than a coin like ripple.

Predictably, I’ve been locked out my Coinbase account and their support system is absolutely useless.  I would imagine I’ll get to log back in when Bitcoin drops to about £0.50p

One of my mates put me onto chainlink yesterday, currently reading up on them. Have you used or locked at blockfi ? Mate reckons he earns over £100 PM just off of interest with them

bought chainlink at 50 cents, sold at $4... as thought it was the top and had then recouped everything i had lost in 2018 then it pumped to $20  :s but chainlink is going to be the thing that's gonna help crypto go into mainstream businesses. Chainlink is a much, much better thing to put your money into and hold imo.

opened a 20x long an hour or so ago and doing well. $658/eth, gonna hit $1k soon, nuts earlier this year it was $90! Ethereum 2.0 being rolled out over the next couple of years which will cut gas fees a huge amount, allowing more decentralised erc20 exchanges to flourish.

I might be being a bit thick, but on the app (I’m using Coinbase pro), how can I purchase Chainlink using Bitcoin.  I managed to do it y’day when I bought XRP using the profit I had made on Bitcoin, but logging in today, I haven’t got a scoobie.  Doesn’t seem to be giving me the option

I used to purchase on coinbase and then transfer to binance, where id make other purchases.
  • Just tried to log in to Coinbase but have changed my mobile number since I last logged on so a bit of hassle now. I will have to re-apply my security info over the weekend.

What’s the most mainstream product or service you can buy with cryptocurrency?

    Not drugs and guns.

That one isn’t supported by Coinbase unfortunately.  I’m looking at another platform to buy that

Gold and Oil are not often described as currencies anymore...

I never said it was worthless.

I’m pretty ignorant to it all to be honest. If it’s more like stocks and shares rather than a replacement for ‘real’ currency then that’s cool - was just trying to understand.
