Felt like a extraordinarily unlucky game. So frustrating watching this team. Every error we make gets punished.
The trouble is, bad luck follows bad form around like a bad smell.

Some good football today with minimal reward. Hit the woodwork 3 times, I counted 4 shots where their goalie didn’t need to move to save it. Washington did so well at the end, but just couldn’t finish it.

Felt like Swindon had 3 chances, scoring 2.

Happy to not lose, but a draw just isn’t good enough against what was, frankly, a very poor team. So pissed off with our form. We need Inniss and Famewo back so much.

Schwartz’s goal ruled offside was a quality finish. He looks like a proper striker.

Miller’s cross for Chuk’s goal was sublime. I liked him floating through the centre, which caused them all sorts of problems at the start of the second half.

Can you thrash a team 2-2?

Any other day, we win that and we're probably saying we fully deserved it, good times.

But a draw isn't good enough and there's no three points to paper over some frankly worrying defensive cracks. Granted, the deflection was a bit freaky, but the way we let teams forward and try to counter is a little too inviting of pressure. I get the bend-and-don't-break philosophy - but we're breaking!

Going forward though, they pretty much couldn't live with us. I have few complaints in that department. How did we not win?

Two points dropped but there's hope yet. Sign a centre back please.

12 goals conceded in the last 6 games.

    And we sign a striker....

Unlucky Washington but should've won. Defence is the problem big time.

    You can say that again
  • Draw isn't good enough. So frustrating when there isn't one wonderful team in this league. Can't keep getting a comeback draw all the time

Why can't we attack like that from the first minute and take the lead for once.

Can't sit here waiting for weeks for our CB to be back!! Defenders need to be signed ASAP if we are to improve.

For me Shinnie and Morgan need to be in the middle on Tuesday. Thiught they were superb

I just don’t know how we didn’t win that.
It’s called giving teams 2 goal head starts,it is happening far too often. I’m afraid you can’t say we should have won when we are making these mistakes and conceding so many goals.

Relieved we got a point, need 15 more for safety. But this papers over the cracks.

Curbs bemoaning the Swindon time wasting, but that's what happens when you give teams a 2 goal start.

I'm sick to.the back teeth of teams coming down to us and taking the piss. It shouldn't be happening, but we constantly bring it on ourselves
  • We would be a cracking side with a back four of Gunter, Inniss, Famewo, Maatsen.

    Centre half a huge priority.

    2 points dropped - gutted.
First goal conceded wasn't down to the centre halves
  • Washington to score this.
Unbelievable. Pub League miss. Rubbish defence but our finishing was garbage

I want to say “give it time”, but I don’t think we have the time to give any more. Great players brought in, 2 best CBs still of injured, but it’s late January in a very competitive league.
  • Not good enough.

Swindon have lost 6 of their last 9.  We have played them twice in that run and failed to beat them.  They are 4th bottom and dreadful.

We have 15 points from 14 games.  Those games have been against the weakest teams in this division.  Our run in is difficult.  This is not a blip, this is permanent form which has lasted for more than half our season.

This season feels just like last, a good start then gradually worse and worse whilst we all wait for injured players to return.

Fans and players talking about how unlucky we are, other teams scoring all their chances etc miss the point.  Bad luck lasts a game or two.  The goals we are letting in is not down to luck.

Piss poor I thought. Groundhog Day watching these games. Swindon absolute shite. We were ok for a couple of 20 min periods but we are disjointed. A couple of players look to me that they don’t give a toss.  Not impressed by Schwartz or stockley albeit the latter couldn’t be faulted for effort.

Good point to keep us out of the relegation fight and cement us a mid table league one side. keep it up Bowyer #positivity 👍

Such a frustrating game and result.   Should have won that.

There is a major critical issue that needs addressing asap and that is the gaping hole in our defence with the absence of 2 reliable, available and natural centre backs.

It is not fair on the midfield and the strikers who are busting their balls each game and banging goals in when this issue is meaning we are up against it pretty much every game and needing 3 to win to overturn schoolboy errors.

Get a couple of solid CBs in, in the absence of Famewo and Inniss and I reckon both Gunter and Matthews regain their form and play to their ability.

All available resources and wherewithall needs to be put towards trying to achieve this with what is left of the window.

We are not a bad team and are playing below our potential and I think it all stems from this major issue of the central defence.

Bowyer's tactics and team selection seems to have been a lot more sensible lately too.

REally think if we can sore the defence out we will push on and be up amongst it but if not then we've not performed as this group of players could.

Really gutting result and should have won that by a country mile.

    Good to rescue a point.

But we should never ever have been in the position to need a comeback, to be 2-0 down at home to a team 23rd in the league is appalling

    “Boywer got it all wrong”

The same people who wanted the same line up
He's not getting it wrong in the selection anymore, but clearly something is wrong with the coaching. Every player we've got has regressed this season, and our defence is getting worse and wors
He’s getting wrong for a new reason.... that’s convenient.

He’s not above criticism, but the defence and injuries have always been the issue
Not convenient at all, I've been saying the tactics have been wrong for ages. Tactics are done in training, which is what I've said. So not sure what you're on about.

  • I basically think that we now can’t afford to lose another match. This piss poor run has effectively ended our promotion hopes unless we go on an unbelievable run. Can’t see it.

Is that 2 home games in a row where we've had to come back from 2 goals at half time?

Load of crap imo.  Not buying all these ‘positives’ we’re mustering.  Not buying the excuse of Famewo & Inniss coming back and saving our season.  Fragile, soft and repeating the same mistakes again and again.  These teams who we seem to have trouble beating aren’t very good.  Swindon arrive with 2 wins in 10, second from bottom.  We gift them 2 soft goals.

We’re just going round in circles and it’s all a bit tedious.  Trying to make the most out of the fact we came back from 2-0 down.  It’s irrelevant if we don’t learn from it and change it!!!!  We keep saying we can kick on blah blah blah.  I don’t see it.
  • Sorry will repeat myself as only way to calm down. How did Washington miss that.

Brownie it’s Schwartz and not Schwartzer
  • I'm no Nostradamus, but i think Sandgaard might have to revise his 'Premier league in 5 years' plan.
