21 points from 19 games v's teams with an average position of 14th so bottom half. Comparing us to Wigan. Calling out players publicly. Each to their own but I don't see there being any argument that says he has not lost it sadly.
That interview was the opposite of Bowyer a few months ago. Rather than anger, frustration and outbursts blaming players/fans/refs he sounds like he’s given up on this squad. That’s not good for him or the players. I don’t think TS is right when he said player for player we have one of the best squads in the league, but Bowyer seems to have gone to the other extreme and has no real expectations of the players. Some of things that made him a good manager in the past were his high expectations and the belief he gave the players. This squad isn’t what some think it is, but Robinson’s 17/18 squad made the play-offs, this squad should be able to do the same.
I guess the difference is that when you play reasonably well but let in stupid goals due to individual errors, you can blame the individuals for the result
When the team performance is awful, it's difficult to deflect it away from the manager...you can't blame individuals, you can't blame the officials, you can't blame the opposition scoring worldies...
I don't know of any manager even at grass roots level I came up against (and including myself) who didn't understand that with wind like today, you press high and aim to go in 2 or 3 to the good.
Bowyer blamed the players for playing it long, but surely he has an input in how we play FFS! He needs to go now. A new face is the best chance on us going on a run.
Powell and Robinson both finished 13th in league one(Neither managed the whole season). If we finish below that this season then it’s an absolute disaster.
We have been shit for about a year bar a 5-6 game period. We don’t have a game plan or style. I really want LB to do well but I just don’t think it’s going to happen. Sadly I can’t see TS sacking him either and he risks making himself look like he has blind faith.
Please please for the love of god stop this mindless support behind a man who is totally without spirit, drive, passion, tactical nous and leadership. Everything you need to get a decent set of players playing.
Enough is enough. If the owner listens to fan opinion at all getting behind Bowyer could kill this club for a very long time. Too long in this league will have long term consequences.
Too many hide behind ‘just having a club. Well I don’t run my business just to exist and I don’t expect my football club to work in the same way.
Just stop this craziness now as it can’t carry on.
Absolutely this.
Should have gone in December, but I really fear for us if nothing is changed sharpish.

I honestly think finishing below 6th is pretty bad.
Stick with him until the end of the season and then review it. It's good to be talking about the football rather than which con has taken us over. When you compare what was going on this time last year I'd take how it is now all day long. What we need is stability now. Get behind him.
I will never understand this mentality. Ever.
Because it's better off the pitch, we should accept it being worse on it? Weird.
Got to be it now I think, can accept the play offs are gone but the players are at least supposed to look like they're still fighting to get there. Bowyer clearly doesn't believe it's possible and it's showing on the pitch. No idea whether a new manager would get more out of this current squad but there's not much lost I doubt by trying.

It would be some achievement to find a manager who could get less out of this squad.

That's what they said when Parkinson was sacked in 2011!

I think it puts it in perspective.
Bow and Gallen are building a team. No point in sacking him before he’s had time to work with the new players. The time to review it is the end of the season.
How many times are we going to read.... we need to win the next or........?? So tedious watching and reading excuses to cover up the obvious!!. Fu***ing custard is gonna be out of date by the time I get to use it!!!😤😤😂

Parkinson had a far worse squad.
Hindsight is 20/20. Plenty of people at the time thought that squad was good enough to be challenging for promotion. I suspect we will look at this bunch in much the same way in ten years time.

If we're willing to accept this season is a write off, then we can stick with him. I've seen absolutely nothing to suggest he's going to turn it around, so we'll finish mid table and be sacked in the summer.
If we want to have any chanfe it playoffs this season, he simply has to go. He's had time with the players, and we're getting worse each week.

We've been dire for months, clueless on tactics and Bowyer seems to have lost it. There are no signs of improvement and it increasingly seems everyone has given up.
I used to get annoyed or upset if we played badly or lost but now I just expect it. We're one of the worst sides in L1 at present and have been poor since the end of November.

We’ve been losing since November 2019.
Enough is enough, I won’t be tuning in until he goes, the football is beyond dreadful.
What I will say is that niggly matches like the one today surely can’t have changes many minds. There are plenty of teams who would’ve gone to Fleetwood today in those conditions and struggled to dominate the game.
If you were Bowyer out before, you didn’t see enough to be swayed. If you were in the wait and see camp, you’re likely to look at the point gained in the playing conditions and think “ok take it and move on”.
Our away results have been good of late (MK, Rochdale, Bristol R). The results we need to address are at home. Big questions will be asked if we don’t beat Burton in midweek I suspect.
I suspect that Sandgaard may be listening to the wrong people. I can't see Bowyer reverting to the sort of manager he was and am wondering whether there are health issues. He was positive, now he is depressive. Sorry but the negativity he exudes is not going to give the players any confidence whatsoever.
What may annoy all those that harp on about loyalty was the lack of loyalty Chelsea showed to Lampard. As a result of that disgusting lack of loyalty which is sadly all to common in football, they look like they may have turned their season around. It is disgusting!

Last week it was “we’re unlucky because we were playing Gillingham, world renowned purveyors of worldy goals”, this week it’s “we’re unlucky because it was a bit windy”.
The excuses are becoming rather more desperate week on week.

I speak from long experience of seeing this scenario in real life.
