    I know neither were involved but how can you only play one CDM and trust your Centre-Backs to be switched on all game,

    A lot of people talking about Stones but that was an awful pass from Pope into a lot of danger. Stones has zero options on the ball. 

    Should have booted it out of play either way but still.

    That's complete rubbish. Stones had ample time on the ball and that was probably what caused his mistake.

    When he turns he has two polish attackers right on him with no English player within 10 yards. That's the issue.

    Pope played it out as instructed.
    The Pole was about 20 yards away from Stones, who had plenty of time, until he mis controlled the ball.

    Called negative previously but this does show up the fact that we cannot create chances in this formation. 

    Henderson does not change that.
