    Expecting sensible fees and wages.  If one or two need a little extra to push it over the line so be it, if a non "key" play tries to take the piss he can jog on.  Thats what I expect.

    I’m not reading too much into it. Hardly going to say we’ve got loads of money to spend! I think we will be clever with our spending and target some good free agents, pay a fee here and there and get in some quality loans. Save the spending for when we are in the champ 😉

    Last time I remember us throwing money around was under Dowie and that was a fecking disaster. Sensibly run club will do me!

    Makes sense to view the "strict budget" bit in context. The bold bit of Gallen's interview is directed towards the fans. The clause he added (in italics) is most definitely directed towards clubs and agents.

    It's alright 15 players have signed contracts pending the agreement of wages, fees and contract length plus bonuses so its all good.

    Who cares about paying fees. I'd like to think we'll buy a player if Gallen & Co identify a quality prospect, someone like Mendes Gomes at Morecambe. In fact, Sandgaard put his hand in his pocket and paid a fee for two in January. The quality of free agents or players available very cheap are more than sufficient to get us promoted, we undoubtedly have to offer decent wages on top of convincing them this the place to advance their career.

    Well we’ve just paid 450k for Stockley.

    I liked the bit from Gallen on his Valley pass sorry CharltonTV interview where he talks of being careful not to exceed the limit and incurring fines or deduction not sure personally what the fair play limits are but the suggestion is that we are prepared to spend what we can which must be good news
