I’m not criticising Brownie for his negative comments because he’s right a lot of the time.
But it’s really depressing to listen to a club legend describing pretty much everything the current team is doing as inadequate.2 -

Well that was abysmal. Lord knows how Lincoln aren't in front and if we play like that in the second half there will only be one winner. And that won't be us.
Defensively we are a shambles down the wings particularly down the left hand side. And once again MacGillivtay hasn't come for a cross all afternoon.
I swear Kirk only touched the ball twice in the last 30 minutes and I'm not sure Blackett - Taylor has touched the ball at all!
And we've gone back to one up front. Davison hasn't got a hope in hell of winning the ball against 3 defenders.
Something has got to change soon surely.

Does Adkins pick a team then tell them to just “play football” and leave them to work it out? Still no sign of a plan, style of play and relationships between the players. Not convinced we’ve got any fitter either, we can’t press effectively yet everyone does it to us.
Said at the time I’d have put Washington on for Lee, both offer energy and movement. However playing the way we have it wouldn’t have made a difference.5 -
At the game. Was ready to give the team and NA the benefit of the doubt after Fleetwood (begrudgingly). Nothing’s changed for me. Can’t get out of our half, no movement. Gunter as captain is ridiculous. He’s not a talker, not someone to fire them up. Lavelle and Famewo look awkward, and for some reason our only play at the moment is to go through them out from the back.
A lot of anonymous performances, Davison working hard but it’s like watching a dog run after a tennis ball he’s never going to get hold off.
I don’t think NA has any other play than bringing Stockley on, but it’s pointless based on our poor we’ve been so far.
It’s definitely NA’s lack of ideas tactically, but the players just aren’t good enough. I think we’re in big trouble this season6
