    Other than Inniss (even that's debatable) which of that 5 would be first choice in our last promotion team?

    Edit - Slightly unfair on Clare as we didn't play 3 at the back that season and I suspect he'd give Dijksteel a run for his money at right back.
    Depending on what formation we adopt next season, my gaps would be the following based on the current 3-5-2

               Clare Inniss ????

                  Dobson 

    ????      Fraser      ????

                  ?????

          Stockley  ?????

    Far to inconsistent to put any sort of run together. Win 3, lose 2, win 1, lose 1 etc.

    We are a bang average League One side meaning we are where we belong.

    If this summers transfer window is as bad as last summers and January just gone we will be in League One in 2024 as well.

    With Stockleys admission today in his podcast I'd be searching for a main striker now & steal a march on the competition so that we have one signed up as soon as the season ends. 

    He might not be the same the player again - remember Super Clive after his hip injury in 1998/99. I know Syockley's is a slipped disc but backs are dodgy once they've gone.

    If we win on Saturday, we lost game 31 last season so will only be 1 point behind last season.

    Last season, we had 8 wins, 6 draws and 2 defeats from the last 16 games = 30 points

    Fraser may well be good enough. Lavelle possibly. DJ and CBT have potential. [Not so sure about Foster lol]

    Not happening this time round with this mob though.  They’re not capable of putting that run together.  Plus we have some hard games.  Rotherham and Wigan away, Ipswich away could be tricky.  Oxford come to us, they’re looking okay.  

    I think we can win at home to Morecombe, Gillingham, Burton & Shrewsbury.  Win away at Doncaster.  The rest are too close to call what can happen.  I think maybe 6 more wins this season maybe.  3 or 4 draws.  That’s 21/22 pts.  We finish in the lows 60s.  I think 65pts will be our max based on how the season has panned out, late 60s if we go on some miraculous run, but no higher

    And 22 of those ponts came in the first 10 games. 

    We got a total of 14 points from 20 games and still only missed the play offs on goal difference.......

    We should get a new manager every ten games, we would get over 100 points 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

    Both DJ or CBT are well short of Championship standard IMO

    FWIW......I think we'll get somewhere close to 60 points. So another 18-20 points. Win 5 draw 4 lose 6.

    Posted 10 days ago & today had just firmed up my opinion. Might push it out to be finishing 10th to 12th. 

    We are actually in a bit of a false position due to most teams having played less games than us. Lose to Wimbledon on Boxing Day & with their games in hand they could be above us soon, along with 2 or 3 other teams. 

    Our points tally will be around 68-70 points.
    Every time I come back on here I revise my prediction.........downwards.

    Now thinking 60 points & between 12 &14.

    13th would give us top spot.....on the 2nd page of the table.

    My only concern is to get the dozen or so points required to ensure safety and put this awful season to bed. A lot of work required if we are going to be any sort of threat next season.
