Like that and the fact there's a bit of thought and meaning behind the design.

A slightly better look at the chalk graphic

It's a nice kit, but why does everything have to have a weird story these days?!

"It's inspired by the workers of a chalk pit that used to be here."

Just "It's a football kit, it's white, we've tried to make it a smart one that looks good.  Hope you like and buy it" would do.

It's the reverse of what they say for the women's kit. They have UoG as the home sponsor and RSK as the away sponsor

2 bang average kits so far, both keepers shirts have been better than the outfield ones.

Agreed. White has always been our secondary colour, and we’ve had to try and find some convoluted way to link the colour white to some part of our history.

Its a nice enough kit, but the whole ‘inspired by chalk’ stuff is a bit forced.

Those shorts would go so much better with the home kit! Now that would be a great combo!

Not a huge fan of it, particularly don't like the single colour piping collar thing. Pattern on the main part is a nice change though.

It’s very nice. What does Castore have against a sewn on badge? Cost cutting? I won’t be buying it 1. I’m a grown man 2. The badge will come off after one wash.

Sounds like a lot of clubs are having ‘supply chain issues’, not just us and Castore. Good old Brexit eh.

My god if only I had known that choosing Brexit would delay my chance to purchase the latest piece of expensive nylon, for a couple of weeks, I would have reconsidered my vote.

The womens home shirts on the club shop have RSK as the sponsor though

Didn't do your homework then, did you.

Fancy making a life changing decison without finding out the consequences...  :D

I like that the kit with a nod to the valley will be worn during games not at the valley 😂

True, but I reckon there's a good chance both teams will be in their away kits tomorrow

Looks ok, not sure about the underarm black section. The backstory is a bit convoluted, but that's the modern way

on the whole both decent enough kits - the keeper kits for both are much nicer though

  • Looks like the shirt has the “3D” badge on them. So are the players posing in the early prototypes or are these final versions?

Having separate sponsors for the home and away kit could cause issues with the GK shirts

For example when we play at home a team who plays in yellow (e.g. Burton) the keeper will presumably have to wear the blue "away" shirt, so I assume they'll have to have sets of GK kit with both sponsors on them.

I like the kits overall, but genuine question, how many fully grown men walk around wearing goalkeepers kits? Cant imagine many even though we do have a degree of weirdo's supporting us.

Part of the X- factorisation of Britain.

’This kit is made from the blood and sweat of the workers who dug out the Valley’
’its unique fabric is held together by those same workers tears (of joy) when they finally saw Charlton play at The Valley’
’with your support we honour the workers’
