Some of us are not content with it and are criticised for it.
Correct.  The pelters you receive for not being convinced things are going to get better is a little OTT.

It's a forum. Opinions can be different but the only thing that matters sre results on and off the pitch.....

If you're not content find new owners with a pile of money.

    Good luck.

I don't know about others who post expecting things to improve, but I realize they may not.

What I don't like is being pigeon holed into for/against. I'd prefer to be indifferent to his antics and not be told every time he breaks wind with a new thread then opening up to over analyse it's significance.

Do fans of other Clubs have such an obsession with their owners I wonder?

We have had a bottom half season in League One. We ended the previous season just outside the play offs. Adkins was not able to change anything as he was appointed to deliver this brilliant new system which would see us storm the league. It took Jacko to throw it in the bin and this season we seem to have come up with this new magic system and appointed a manager committed to play it. It feels like the same mistake to me.

I think we have been in League One long enough so I am expecting us to get out or at least have a bloody good go at it this season. I didn't see anything to suggest this is going to happen on Saturday but it is still early days. I'm not allowed to say there are not enough goals in the team so I won't. You can either see the obvious or you can't. Mind you, ditching one up front and bringing in a Stockton and it all changes potentially so you could argue we are not far off. But if nobody gets it, we might as well be a million miles away.

To me, I see it as the correction of the mistakes made last year. Jackson didn't do enough IMO and he isn't completely blameless for his role under Adkins. Garner may not be successful either but I think we have a better chance with this fresh start than if we had kept JJ.

I can see that. If they didn't think Jacko was the right man, give Euell a go as a caretaker. Personally, I don't think he got a chance and it will be interesting to follow his career from here.

This is such corny thinking tbh

Well, in a semi-similar fashion as I am interested in how QPR do after we were linked with Beale I went and checked one of their forums after their result this weekend.

The top thread was someone one that was started at half time during their game with Blackburn predicting that QPR were going to get relegated that year - https://www.wearetherangersboys.com/forum/general/qpr-fans/2579091-we-are-100-going-down

Yes, if we didn't think like that previously, no Curbs and no Bowyer. Very corny.

I really can't understand why we don't just see how we do over the next 10 games or so. We have had the clear out most seemed to have wanted which may or may not work but after one game it is far too early to know if there is improvement on the pitch and if so where that may take us. Results matter and whether he plays a guitar, writes a song, does poses which the odd person finds embarrassing, gets carried away with his comments, it shouldn't matter one iota if the results are with us, and we have a season we all think we deserve. Not convinced that will happen but until then I will give him the benefit of doubt.

I honestly think we must have the largest number of introverted fans in the world of football!!!!

People still harping on about JJ ffs the bloke was so far out of his depth he was drowning. Then Euell should have been given a chance, then what next ? Oh why not give someone else a chance who has an affinity with the club. Oh and let's sign a load of ex players because they are all fantastic.

    It's getting silly now folks.

I thought you were quoting Murray’s speech to a fan on said date, Crusty.

In terms of JJ being out of his depth, let's see how he goes shall we? And when we show we are better than mid table maybe we can get behind him being replaced without being given a proper chance. A start would have been not being outplayed for large parts of the game by Accrington Stanley but some people are happier about this than me. But if Garner does well, I will be happy and behind him. I just think we are not going up this season and whilst I would like to, I can't unthink it.

Not many managers when drowning climb 9 places in a league from late October to the finish.  Maybe he wasn't the long term appointment (we will never know) but he was not that bad, particularly when you compare what his predecessor with the same set of players sid

This is the crux of my point. I am not saying he would be, but it wasn't clear he wouldn't be.

We were outplayed by Accrington last season with JJ in charge and they played the last 30 minutes with 10 men.

Perhaps they weren't sure if Jacko was the right man or not, but thought they would give him a go as caretaker.

Obviously nobody is sure if Euell was the right man either, but don't see why you would give him a go over JJ who more than earned his chance.

I wouldn't give Euell a go over JJ. I wouldn't have sacked JJ. I would have allowed him to have the Summer to address the issues he would have known inside out. After JJ went, I would have given Euell a spell as caretaker but of course JJ wouldn't have gone if it was down to me.

The position over JJ was a problem of TS's own making. If TS had appointed JJ as caretaker manager after 2 or 3 wins then everyone, including JJ, would probably have been happy.
TS dithered, however and then found himself with no option but to appoint JJ as permanent manager, even though he probably didn't want him.
I wonder if he really wanted Ben Garner, or would have preferred that Champions League winner.

Cast your mind back 2 years that’s a club in decline a club close to closing its doors …. Where we are now is years ahead from then .. there still work to do you can’t undo 6/8 years of neglect in two years

We were run by a bunch of crooks. I am grateful for Sandgaard prising the club from them but critical of a lot of his decisions as an owner. I have the Danish Flag behind Muttley which shows my gratitude. I think he is making poor calls now though so should I just be happy about it?

What are the issues still being worked on that take more than 2 years to resolve?

It would not have closed its doors. First it would have gone into administration. That’s not closing the doors
