    Really don't get the issue here.

    A non football club have hired the Valley and are branding it for a day, big deal, I really don't see an issue.

    No idea what this earns the club, but assuming it's something/a decent amount, not like we do this every week.

    Brilliant idea by the bloggers and I’m glad it is us making the money and not someone else, plus a chance to give the badge a polish as well!

    Guess the same has been done when we have had adverts done at the valley. think a couple of gambling ones were filmed around the stadium. plus a soft porn scene on the centre circle.

    Do we know (forgive me if I missed it) that the badge was covered up for this bloody charity match or were people just jumping to conclusions?....it seems to me to be a lot of bother to cover it up, only to uncover it later!
    Mind you its giving people like @golfaddick to find something to moan about.....but now the badge is back on full display they will have to wait until Garners press conference or the game on Saturday to find something to moan about again.
    There are lots of serious stuff going on in the world at the moment....cost of living, power prices, war in Ukraine and yet we moan about a badge being covered up...with potentially not knowing the reason.....unbelievable Jeff!!
