If you drive on the A2050 in Canterbury Kent it takes you to the specialist Asian food suppliers Starry Mart. They sell Tofu there.0

I am a vegetarian (tofu eating) and anti racist (member of the wokerati) and therefore closed the Dartford Bridge.
Should I surrender myself to the nearest police station?0 -
Can I be the first to say " Justice for Seth !"2

Just for starters, the cost should be picked up by Prick A and Prick B.0 -

I heard there were football fans harassing a legitimate Belgian businessman and painting offensive graffiti on his private property.
Luckily they didn't spill any milk or climb up any bridges, so everyone thought it was a great idea. After all, the cause was the well-being of a third tier football club not the destruction of the entire planet.
Anyway, back to the travel news...5 - Sponsored links:

Targeted directly at the problem and embarrassing him/hitting his pocket.
Tell me how stopping the working man getting to work or throwing milk on the floor of the supermarket is the same...?5 -

If you can't make a sensible contribution then best wind your neck in.7 -

If Charlton fans started climbing the Dartford crossing demanding Duchatalet sold the club, I'd think they were arseholes too. Purely because the people they are upsetting are not the people that can have any influence on the outcome of their grievances.
It worries me how much people are willing to excuse if the cause is the "right" one. I don't think anyone on here thinks the cause isn't a good one. I think the difference is that some people think it will change the government's course of action, whereas others realise that 1) it won't and 2) it really pisses off people who have been moving towards the cause.
The momentum is going in the right direction and at a very fast pace. These people won't speed up that momentum, even if your view is that it needs to move much faster, they won't be the ones that move it forward.
They're bellends, and given the disruption they're causing to vital journeys as well as people trying to earn a wage, deserve serious sanctioning in my opinion.
I don't believe peaceful protest extends to violating the rights of others to go about their daily lives. And if your excuse is "how else do you raise attention?" There's diplomatic and well established paths for that.

On Monday, thanks to those utter pricks, I had to take the A20 instead of the A2. Result = puncture and missed the match.
When these misguided shits cause chaos, they might well be causing accidents to happen and ambulances unable to reach people while making zero difference to the environment.0 - Sponsored links:

Anybody watch the last episode of Frozen Planet II?
I liken the actions of XR/Just Stop Oil to religious fundamentalists....these are Eco-fundamentlists, if you like...
Once you have accepted Jesus Christ as your one true saviour and anybody who doesnt is destined for hell /humanity will soon die out if we don't rapidly change how we live as a species..... then...all manner of actions become justified
The difference being the Eco guys are guided by science and the religious guys are guided by.... a leap of faith...

So if people protest and upset you they need to be shot.
And if people post views you disagree with they need to wind their necks in.
And illegal criminal acts are OK if they don't delay you getting to work.
Just so I understand..0 -

They don’t upset me, they stop genuine hard work civilians from getting to work and putting food on the table and they stop emergency services from saving lives. I’d imagine that upsets them greatly. If their protests were aimed in the right direction then they would get a lot more support and it would actually be beneficial to the ultimate cause (see Charlton fans in Belgium).
This is just damaging in more ways than one.
if you can’t understand that then you’re an idiot.10 -

What kind of protests would you suggest to lead to rapid change?1 -
