I'll be interested to see what direction Southampton go in. Signed a lot of young players in the summer , Dyche feels obvious if it's about staying up?

A number of their previous appointments have been new to the English game, though they also did go for Mark Hughes before Hasenhuttl, so hard to call what they'll do.

What else would it be about? For them and probably 8 other sides it's about staying up.
City - winning the league Other 5 of the big 6 - getting top 4. Newcastle - getting into Europe.
West ham/Brighton - top half/mid-table Villa (because of their owners ambition) and maybe Leicester - mid-table
Hasenhuttl had almost four years in the job. Klopp and Guardiola are the only ones who were PL managers at the time he was appointed to be still in the job which makes his relative longevity quite an achievement.
Nathan Jones apparently the leading candidate to replace Ralph.
That would be a massive blow for Luton. It would then be interesting who Luton went for, a successful L1 manager you'd imagine, like Schumacher? Is Manning's reputation from last season spoiled by MKD's struggles this season?

Definitely think you're on the right track with who you'd expect them to look at.
Ridiculous. The money ran out after promotion (a situation familiar to us) so Wigan have been trying to compete in the Championship with most of the same players as last season.
Mick Harford in caretaker charge of Luton again. It was actually Harford in charge as they got promoted from L1, as Jones left during the season for Stoke, so he's a very safe pair of hands.
Especially as Coventry are a great example of how things can be turned around
They're only two wins from midtable, its nut at how tight it is in the Championship this season
Not quite the same, Cov had 4 x games in hand on everyone else due to the early season pitch problems, they still have two in hand now. They were down the bottom due to simply not playing as much as poor performances. Wigan do not have any games in hand.

Luton are expected to name ex-Watford boss Rob Edwards as their new manager, reports BBC Three Counties Radio.
The 39-year-old was appointed by Championship rivals Watford in May after guiding Forest Green to promotion from League Two last season.

He only managed 11 games and was gone after just a few weeks of the season.
