  • Only on Charlton Life.
  • Jeez he only asked us to buy a ticket.
    Exactly.
Buy a ticket for £15 and we have 10 pages of whinging on here.
Meanwhile Brighton fans are looking for another 4,000 plus tickets.
You'll be lucky.  It's going to be 1000 I tell you.

    Anyway.

    You love it.

Not sure about blowing smoke but until very recently I have very much given Thomas the benefit of the doubt but that’s finally worn thin. I thank him for sorting out and ridding us of of the previous parasites which if he hadn’t we might now not be here to moan at all. I think his intentions have always been honourable and the failures have been down to being too full of himself and having no clue that having an experienced CEO should have been the first thing he did. In all honesty the mistakes have kept coming. Thank you Thomas but I hope you do the right thing and get the hell out and save yourself some money and let someone else try where you have not been able to get things right. It’s also an indictment of todays football when a businessman like TS with all his money is still not rich enough to own and progress a third tier football club.
He is rich enough though. We're not progressing due to his own mismanagement. He's just too stubborn to get help with it

Charlton are interested in finding people who are interested. It will be very dear and it’s not a great deal, so I wouldn’t get too excited.

Like every owner, he has a price that he would sell for but it’s large, so don’t hold your breath

It's an article reporting on a bit of Alan Nixon speculation. Nixon is described as a journalist.

Well it once sold for a  £pound, and currently has much less value than it did back then!
Mainly thanks to the crackpot that is now trying to shift it.

Intrigued to know what he values it at?

Is the whole ground open for this now?

Seems to be apart from Curbs A & B.  Brighton have 2K more allocation (total 6.3K) so could be in there or more in West Upper?

    It's all on you CE.
Saying some fans don't deserve a decent owner

  • Turn the clock back 15 years and tell your old self that brighton and hove Albion are bringing 6,000 to the valley… on buses from Sussex (anyone remember valley express)… and will have more there than us

Shouldn't that be 5.3k, if the JS holds about 3300?

Plus their extra 1300 which they got for the West Upper on Tuesday/Wednesday.

This is now their 3rd allocation.

I don't think sandgaard deserves verbal and written abuse.

He is rubbish...but I think a lot of it is down to the fact that owning a british football club is something that carries no benefit to him, and therefore, his ownership will be of no benefit to the club.
His business acumen is OK in the American plc world. Its not of any use for football and its alien to him.
Sounds like I'm just assuming he is stupid. He's not stupid, he's just made a lot of stupid mistakes.

His personality is not the prototype for football club owner. It is a distance from that...and he is a unique (odd) kind of character.

It's not a match made in heaven. It's a drunk one night stand, she ends up pregnant, you reluctantly propose but end up getting divorced a few years later.

He is a boring suit an tie adrenaline junkie that should continue his work in the states.

Still a good few games to go before Varney brings his man to the Brighton game. God only knows what sorry state we'll be in by then?

If he's looking for smiles and happy clappy I think he may be very disappointed.
This ever giving shower of shit, masquerading as a football club is slipping down tha tubes at a fair old rate of knots.

There’s no possibility Brighton’s allocation will be bigger than the home support, even on current sales, which are about 4,000-5,000 (mainly in the lower west). That is plenty for a cup game that won’t sell out nearly three weeks ahead of matchday.

Brighton have the whole west upper.
