    There are no rules in football, just laws of the game. ;o)


    It's only a handball offence, when any part of the arm or hand moves towards the ball, even in reflex or self protection.

    If the arm or hand is perfectly still, yet the the ball strikes the arm or hand - there is deemed to be no offence, as there could not possibly be any intent to gain an advantage.

    Although time and time again, we see 'top' referees who cannot seem to interpret the difference,
