[cite]Posted By: HandG[/cite]I would-I've got tickets for the Oval!

Yes, but what could be better than watching the Aussies convulse with frustration as they lose 1-0 with the Great British Summer delivering those lovely summer storms over and over...?

    I'd bloody love it!

On the law of averages Australia should win the toss

Surely the law of averages says its 50/50

What could be better than a rain-helped England 1-0 win? Well "4-0" has a certain ring to it!

Australia won the toss and will bat. Shane Watson in for Phil Hughes.

And it looks like the Warwickshire authorities have done the typical, money-grabbing thing: ensure they play for long enough to squeeze in 25 overs, so they don't have to pay any compo on the ticket prices.

And... Australia's 'keeper bust a finger AFTER the toss, but we've allowed them to replace him.

Never seen that before, Brad Haddin breaks the index finger on his left hand AFTER the team sheets were handed in. England were well within their rights to say no to his replacement but in the true sportsmanship of the game we allowed it. Must admit I have know nothing about Graham Manou.

    Aus 4-0

    Here's some info

sounds like the crowd have been getting stuck into the bar while waiting for play to start!

get the 25 overs in and the ECB will be well chuffed...

Nor me. But I suspect it won't be long before his missus turns up in a "would ya"!

Brief hiatus while everyone googles the aussie WK's Mrs... ;-)
Would be a bad would ya but a great way to get caught out?

    Great start by England...

Watson out first ball of the day, and Hussey leaves a straight one first ball.

Clarke negotiates the hat-trick ball safely...

Chance gone. Freddie dropped catch in the slips from Onions.

Onions should be on a four haul, that one caught Fred napping.

Things seem to have settled down now, 191-4

Onions' first over of the day was incredible! lbw on Watson first ball then followed it up with one right through the gate. Ponting came down the wicket to Clarke and told him in no uncertain terms to not let the next one in!

Onions on 3-25 at the moment
