I'd be very happy with that, depending on what the yellowy stuff next to the pigs in blankets is. Good variety of stuff there, and a well-filled plate. You deserve to get off lightly.

Put the oven on an hour later next year.

Now, that looks impressive! Pity about the Aunt Bessies yorkshires though.

Looking forward to seeing a little window into the lives of others. It's not just the food, which is sometimes great but often shocking (baked beans and crisps spring to mind), but the table settings, the tableware, the cutlery, the condiments, the quality of the kitchen surfaces and everything else.

Do not spare feelings, do not sympathise or empathise. Be brutal and honest. May Christmas Day begin...

You need an Alan Partridge bigger plate - that is overloaded
  • The family and I are spending Xmas in the UK this year so won’t be enjoying the usual traditional Danish dinner of duck, pork roast, red cabbage and caramalised potatoes (see photo). Will add a photo of todays offering later.

Turkey and stuffing, roast potato wedges and cauliflower with cheese sause and gravy .... bit untraditional but noone here to impress.  Plate by Royal Albert.  Christmas greetings from Chernobyl.

The Father Xmas to the left of the plate must have been flattened when the overloaded plate was put on him.

The stuffing looks like circular concrete paving slabs mixed with stones

Stick it in the garden and see if the local wildlife would have a peck at that bird feed stuffing

I can see why you’ve put the chairs so close to the wall. No chance of a runner from that dinner however much the poor victims will want too…

Not a plate, but a pot luck table, we had dishes made by yanks, brits, Serbians, Russians and Chinese.

    Is that a PINEAPPLE?

Homemade actually. I'm not sure if the missus should take that as a compliment or not...
