To be clear I am not religious in the slightest.
Wasn’t this based on him giving religious themed team talks?Apologies if not, But if so, please leave your faith at the door when you go to work. How you think I should do my job to the best of my ability should have nothing to do with your own spiritual beliefs, regardless of what they
may or may not be.Amazed anyone would think differently in this day and age.
There's literally no evidence he doesn't "leave it at the door."
You may not like the term(i don't)but for a man in his 60's I don't believe you have never heard the term. It's only in the recent decade that the word has gone out of fashion.
Maybe it's your idea of a joke or you want to say 'Whoosh'.

I think there are any number of words and phrases that have gone out of fashion and useage due to a more enlightened view of what they mean or represent. I’d suggest that the phrase in question at play here is one of those.2

Really enjoyed both of his interviews so far, especially his no-nonsense responses to a couple of very pointed questions from a few journalist who were clearly looking for a reaction.
I pray we all keep an open mind, even if we lose tomorrow. As he says it is very difficult to build anything in 4 days but as long as we get a reaction from the players then its a start.1 -

i.e. work hard, don't let in goals and win games, or you are off.1 -
Found this on the seats of the tube carriage I got into the other day, wondered if it was a prep for NJ’s team talk?

Made it pretty clear he was the one who stopped Dobbo going and wants him in the team. Let's hope George is man enough to do the right thing for us, despite being treated like s**t by Scott.11

The reason he is our club captain, and why he never gives less than 100% is proof enough that he is man enough to do the right thing.

Edit: that was an excellent Question to ask if Jones had influence on the Ramsay and Small signings2 - Sponsored links:

One comment NJ made; that if players like Aneke and Leaburn had been fit maybe Holden or Appleton might not have been sacked.5

Just look at Man City's record though whenever they've been without Rodri, or now they have de Bruyne back0 -

Good questions from Cawley. Understandably Terry was a bit gentler.2

Another good presser from NJ. I liked the talk about 'structure' and it seems this new 'structure' includes Sundays whether there is a game on Tuesdays or not. I agree with others that he stopped the Dobbo transfer, which must be another blow to Scott and Co. Finally I think he's realistic to know its going to take time to get his methods across, but is fully aware of the urgent need to get points. I reckon he'll concentrate on confidence building and getting Chucks, Camara, Dobbo and Ramsey in the line-up ASAP!9
