Apparently our odds for promotion have just gone down.
No change on the betting site I use from 7am this morning
    You're on a betting site at 7am?

    When the fun stops, stop.

Would expect Berry to play further forward with Coventry as the holder. Then I guess it's either another new signing, Terry Taylor or Anderson next to Berry. Or you could go more attack minded and play Berry with Coventry and an out and out No10.
Terry Taylor IS the other new signing.

Hahaha I knew this was inevitably coming 😅

If Coventry is our holding midfielder we are going to need some bloody good centre backs. I saw no evidence last season that he can tackle effectively in front of our penalty area.
    Neither is Berry that player.
So, we still need a first team goalie, a central defender who can lead and organise, a defensive holding mid and a number 9, as a bare minimum.

I work with a guy who lives next door to Jack Fincham and family. He knows Jacks dad well who is a good friend of Alfie May's dad ( keep up!). Apparently Alfie and NJ don't get on and AM is not happy and wants a move away
If I was Alfie I wouldn't be too happy with Jones either. Subs him off with 20 to go (and not just once) and has him on throws & corners.

IF he was sold then that's me done.
    Sure

I think Coventry will flourish without Dobbo. They were too similar imo

If he’s our Dobson replacement we aren’t getting near the top half let alone top 6

In fairness, apart from Cape Clear Island and a little bit of land around Baltimore, all of Ireland is northern compared with Charlton.

6'6 and has mini "dreadlocks" in many of his photos. One we wanted last summer though so is he a NJ signing or a "club" signing

He will have to learn to tackle first.

Sure NJ would know him as he has been playing for Cardiff.

know nothing about any of them, but Berry played 17 times for Luton in the prem last season so must have something about him
Let’s hope he’s as good as Bryan Hughes 😁

From his height must have something about him physically. This video seems to show he has decent ability on the ball and is mobile enough to run with the ball rather than simply lay it off. Only 22, could be a player with big potential if we bring him in and get goals out of him. https://youtu.be/Zh07TGZu3-M?si=GwcbK0KQ5MHnU3h4

A striker 6’ 6” you say? Sign him up!

My first thought, then I remembered that Danish? striker nicknamed ‘ Lurch’.
    In NJ I trust.

If we play him and Leaburm we might score from a corner. Maybe.

Be disappointing given that May is off, what with him not getting along with Jones ;)

    Watched the Jones video.

    Gung ho as usual.

Still just words but hard not to warm to him even more.

Managed not to laugh too much when asked what Mannion's role will be.

Etete was a target last summer but Cardiff didn't sign a striker themselves so we ended up with Tedic. Would make a lot of sense as a front man who's played with May and would put less pressure on Leaburn being immediately fit.
