Still don't get the darts reference.
So long as he toes the line :-)1 -

There may be a gentleman's agreement, like we have with Millwall (if that is even true) or there might be a delay like with Luke Berry (perhaps their social media guy is trying to get the rights from Cilla so that they can go....Alfieeee 😄).....but I doubt its because we want to bring in a replacement first.0 -

End of the season we had a tonne of "squad players" and very few first teamers good enough for a promotion push. We are a week from pre season, have 3 new players. One is a back up keeper, one is a back up LB. One is a first choice midfielder.
Have to admit that I was hoping for better so far. Still time to surprise me for the better.7 -
We've not been linked with anywhere near enough former players for my liking
... Johnny Williams?3 -

Off to the naughty step with you.6 -

Obviously there is a strong chance I’m wrong here but why would May be at our training ground yesterday and also the most photographed player, if he was about to sign for Huddersfield. I would have thought that he would have either been up north having a medical and finalising the contract, or kept out of the limelight at our training ground.13

Can’t believe how long it’s taking to sign Darren Purse.6

Find it hard to believe that we would complete a deal for Alfie unless we had his replacement signed as well.13

IF Alfie is off, as it is sounding likely, much to my annoyance, then we will need to see an adequate replacement in place before hand, or at least within 24 hours, still can't believe he is potentially off up Norf, to Huddersfield of all places...🤦♂️

I was impressed by Adheme at the Valley, albeit v our defence.
He and Etete are both good prospects and fairly young to which we can add Leaburn and Kanu. May would compliment them both.
A Mitchell is an upgrade, it seems, on Hector, while Edwards is a flexible left sided player and another big guy.
I like the look of what might be our squad (WIOTOS and all that) so far but another keeper, midfielder and centre back needed IMHO.
Cautiously optimistic but still a lot to do.21 -

Charlton scored 7 headed goals throughout the entire season.3 -
