    Yeah, they can select to compete for either Ireland or the U.K. There was a girls in the boxing yesterday who had boxed for NI in the Commenwealth games (which Ireland obviously don’t compete in) and then for Ireland at these Olympics. 

    I also think you can compete for a country at this Olympics and a different one at a future Olympics (that’s not specific to U.K./Ireland).

    I've been impressed from what little I've seen. Definitely has a good turn of speed in the latter stages, but has shown naivety in timing it and race positioning, getting himself boxed in and having to bustle his way through. 

    I doubt he'll finish top six tomorrow, but very promising for the next Olympic cycle, fitness permitting and with more experience. I wish him well for tomorrow of course. Anything inside top ten would be a great effort imo.

    Dina is a world class athlete but maybe her best days are behind her ?
