    Yeah, was going to say this as well. Very rarely eat kebabs but whenever I’ve used this place, they’ve been very good.

    Anyone from Medway, Master Kebab. I’d say it’s the best in Kent. Won enough awards just a shame it doesn’t deliver.

    The Kebabci in Well Hall Rd is fantastic. Their lamb doner is the best I have ever had. They bake their own bread as well which is lovely.

    I think it’s dropped in quality since it first opened, absolutely nothing wrong with it now but when it first opened it was above good

    Freshly baked bread is a massive plus for me, especially when ordering a yogurtlu kebab, most places chuck stale pita underneath

    That's the thing that let's topkapi down for me. Like many, the pita bread is the same you get from the supermarket and rock hard.

    Living in wood green I have plenty of kebab options, but Crystal is my favourite. There's three Turkish restaurants practically next door to each other on the highroad and you can smell the meat barbequeing (particularly at weekends) from a fair distance away. It's glorious....and I now know where I'm going for lunch later haha!

    As a veteran of many authentic Turkish cuisine establishments, I always thought the best kebab was to be had North of the Thames. Masters Kebab blow 99% of them away, everything they do is quality even the elephants leg. I have no problem with them not delivering, the guy who runs the place didn't want to over extend and their quality to suffer nor did he want to piss the council off with delivery drivers taking the piss where they park. For the quality its also very reasonably priced

    Must get around to trying this place, it's been on the radar a while. Living by the High Street, it's far too easy for me to be lazy and head to Ziyafet or Coban's Kitchen.

    Oceans Takeaway on Mayplace Road is lovely.

    Mainly a fish and chips, but they do a banging Chicken Shish. 

    The best thing they do however, is a tandoori chicken naan, homemade bread and the portion is massive.

    My favourite haunt for a donor kebab was near Plumstead Station. I don’t know how many times I fell in there needing a fix of donor with Chilli sauce. I don’t think it did my cholesterol levels any good but it used to make my knees tremble whilst munching on the way home.
    Unfortunately or fortunately I now live in Central London and the kebabs are not the same. But I still dream of those kebabs.

    The one on colyers lane does the same I think and used to be called oceans. Called hooked now.
