50k crowd paying (say a reduced ticket price 20 quid) is a million, so they'll get half of that.
They'll not get 50k there but of course will get considerably larger crowd and gate receipts.

I vaguely remember them playing a couple of games there when their new stadium was slightly delayed0 -

Hardly sounds like a "steal" in that context.1 -

I wonder if they will try to get Saturday’s game played at The Valley ?0

Would expect it most likely to be Sutton, they're away on Saturday although QPR would fit the bill too.0

Wimbledon pump 100,000 litres of water from ground

They are home to Accrington on Saturday. QPRs ground is likely too big? I think Sutton would accommodate nicely. Also Mk dons play at Bromley (congratulations) to introduce a bit of danger to the equation. Personally think they'll postpone and rearrange after agreeing something with one or two clubs.0

According to this the attendance for the Accrington Match last season was 7108, and that was on a Tuesday night. Admittedly that may have been elevated a bit by the "new ground" phenomenon, but it'd still be tight at Sutton. Restricting the away attendance might've been OK if they'd been aware earlier that they were going to have to move it, but given they'll already have been selling tickets, it's possible that they've already exceeded the capacity of Sutton's away end.2

They could have played at Stadium MK 😂2

Wimbledon to Sutton is 5.3 miles and would be the best option if it's not Palace 7.6 miles.
I feel sorry for JJ and I want them to be successful for him. Jackson can walk on water but the players will disappear down the sinkhole. 13 points from 6 matches and then the heavens opened up.1 -
Match day ticket for the Newcastle united game is £20. Club are putting on coach travel with return ticket for £55.5

Most of them have their grounds sold out every week for PL games with a waiting list for season tickets so a game like this gives a chance for others to get to a game. Plus with reduced ticket prices i'm sure they'll sell out.1 -

I agree with what you say but I think that the gate will be nearer to 40k.

Absolutely pissing down in SW19 at the moment and had been earlier as well. They might have been a big too quick to move that sand…1
