I'm not saying to put the bullet in the head of Charlton Athletic FC quite yet, but probably do load the gun2

That is humiliating. We are rightly getting torn to shreds all over social media for this.25

Especially if a few enjoy seeing Charlton tonk Wrexham 7-0, and decide they want to come back in the future.
When Keith Peacock first visited the Valley (in the stands, as a youngster rather than as a player), wasnt it when we played Blackburn Rovers in a winner gets promoted game... We lost, and he felt so sorry for us, he decided to start supporting us? - I could have got that wrong as been a while since I've read his book.
The majority of us should be focused on one thing; coming away with three points.
Only way its truly going to fail off the pitch, is if we show ourselves up as a disorganised mess with day trippers leaving reviews, complaining about cost and wait times to get into the Ground / Purchasing things from the Club Shop / Getting Food & Drink - Thats where the club really cant afford to fail.
Still reckon we're hoping to appear on the relevant season of Welcome to Wrexham (tiny bit more exposure), with this one approach1 -
When the fixtures came out I was gutted that I'd be in Egypt for the game.
Now I'm delighted5 -
The whole thing is very embarrassing, but some tourists and kids like them, they are not for everyone, but if a kid wears one then fair enough, it is a simple momento of a match they went to (they don’t really buy programmes anymore)1

More proof that owners/board can't just do what they want, cause its 'their club'3

Doesn't seem like the type of strategy laid out by billionaires, they aren't that desperate for cash surely.
There's no point being missed, everyone can see exactly what the club has done, and how the day has always been about capitalising on Wrexhams clout from the very start. Doesn't mean it isn't fkn embarrassing.0 -
I'm even more embarrassed about this now than when I saw the first scarf post a few hours ago.
Wrexham have visited Rotherham, Stevenage, Birmingham, Orient, Bolton, Peterborough so far and it's us who do this.
I don't particularly care if it makes a few pounds for the club. Fix the catering and make money off one-off visitors that way, or push jackpot tickets, or give a token discount for Peterborough at home if you bought a Wrexham ticket.3 -

I’ve tried my best on many occasions to defend the club’s commercial team as I think relatively they’ve done a good job.
This however is fucking embarrassing and I hope someone gets the boot for it.For the sake of what could amount to a grand, maybe two, we’re a bit of a laughing stock7 -
