    That's 2 failures in L2 for Clemence.

And amusing that Pete Wild, unluckily sacked by Barrow last summer, is now in charge of Fleetwood who got a great win at Salford on Saturday to go above Barrow.
  • Barrow have appointed Andy Whing as manager. Was manager at Solihull: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c863jp849vyo

A typical Chairman's reaction, going from someone who's been a coach/assistant at big EFL clubs, to someone who's done well managing in non league.

Lucky, but then again this is the Saudi Pro League, only 6 points of relegation.
Hope he stays over there. Can't stand him

They sacked his assistant Holden, probably as a scapegoat but the form doesn't seem to have improved so maybe the fault is with the manager?

Rowett doing an incredible job at Oxford, who are now nearer the playoffs than the relegation places.

Don't imagine that came as much of a shock, the way he was kicking off at the end last night looked like a manager who knew he was in trouble.

Why did they let him spend 1.2 million only to sack him a few weeks later

To be fair Randall is a good player and will do well for them under most managers. Was their standout for me yesterday

I want a statistical analysis of which clubs were the last opponents before a sacking. All EFL + EPL managers, 2000-now. Bet we're top ten

Are we really that shameful to lose to?

The loss to Wigan was the big hit when it came to a head and the loss to CAFC was just the hair that broke the camel's back.

Once you fall out with the majority of the fan base and your son has taken verbal abuse it's time to move on.
I would think that Evatt's win % was high over the last 4 seasons ?

They want someone who, unlike Evatt, can beat us.
  • Watford are refusing to comment on Spanish rumours that Tom Cleverly is going to be sacked, and replaced by a former Villareal Manager.

Watford are ONE POINT off the Play-Offs!!

Evatt was only 3 points, 1 win off the playoffs, not much difference

Cleverly has been there since the end of last season and jumped them up from 15th as well as being popular with the fans. Evatt had been there years and it had gone stale

I actually agree, the Managerial sacking culture in England has gotten a bit ridiculous - I know Evatt has been there a lot longer, but given that so few teams can be promoted in a season, its a bit silly that so many dont last if they cant achieve it.
