Solid option for RB with plenty of Championship experience, doesnt sound much like a starter in terms of his quality but saying that hes finished a lot higher up the football pyramid then we have of late so wont knock it too much and anyway if we're keeping hold of Rambo then his role in the squad is pretty clear.
Decent enough option, a very good back up.1 -

We shouldn't be too quick to judge. We know that Millwall fans with any class or intelligence end up taking refuge on Charlton forums, so maybe it's the same for this poor lad. Everyone deserves a second chance in life and this could be the first step in his rehabilitation into society.21

We all wanted a RB, and seems like we are switching to a back 4 where he won't have to go forward as much, and now we have one with plenty of championship experience.
Gets stuck in, can't cross... If he's got a decent long throw we've basically got Harry Clarke without the transfer fee attached.
I'll be honest, I like the defensive profile we're building. DM, Jones, Sichenje, Mesik will take no prisoners. Then you have the likes of Ramsay, Bell and Koumetio who are more ball playing defenders. Edwards comes back and could fit in either group.
He may be Millwall, but at least he's not Argentinian.20 -

It also gives us a very mean looking defence and adds more experience in that defence, only question is what about a wing back ? Danny Mcnamara isn't one.3

A Millwall colleague of mine say's he has pace and loves a tackle. Limited crossing ability. If you get in a fight you'd want him in your corner2

From a Milwall ST holder, I think if you asked AI to describe the perfect Nathan Jones defender it’d write something like this 😂‘Sub par crossing, but but defensively one of the best defenders you'll have. Was played at cb and lb in emergencies despite being incredibly one footed. At one point, Harris played him at left back over Joe Bryan (highest paid player at the club) when there was a tricky right winger. Guaranteed yellow cards, sliding tackles and winding up oppos.’3

An average at best championship player is a vast improvement on the overall quality we had in the squad. He has Championship experience for a moderately successful team. Already settled in the area, obviously. We have a small budget and I can't imagine he was in a position to negotiate a big wage. NJ obviously rates him. Low risk signing, I like it.2

Well objectively him and his agent have done very well being released by a Champ club and picking up a contract at another Champ club.A little demoralising it showing the different realistic ambitions of the two clubs at the moment.Wish him well and expect a no thrills 100%er. Very much hoping it’s a squad signing though.
Perhaps our best chance of beating Millwall is fielding a load of their fans against them. Just need to add Baker in goal and Day Lewis to the left wing.11 -

Knew nothing about Bell before he signed, but he is a pretty decent footballer, I am hoping that McNamara will at least be at Bell level.0 -

Ramsay is our preferred RB and I think all things considered we’ve not signed McNamara as an upgrade. Competition and cover is what I’m expecting. Slightly concerned that it could throw doubt into Kaynes future with us but if he’s off then we’ll need to sign another RB so I doubt that’s an immediate concern.1

Just had a drill down on his last few seasons and he looks very injury prone (Yes I know about the ACL). He hardly played any minutes last season, I seriously hope he is just a back up.
Hope it works out, but not thrilled to say the least.
