He looked like a lad groomed for the premier league used to playing with similar boys.

sorry this is men’s football. He was totally out of his depth.

    Desperate signing
To be fair, we were desperate for assists

I'm not 100% convinced about him defensively, although he was up against Fatawu. Beautiful footballer though.

I’m confused thought Josh Edwards was meant to be out for the season

Played well today. Got forward well and that is what we have been lacking since Edwards is out. And what a cross for Dykes' goal. Yes defensively he can learn a thing or two, but at his age that is not a surprise. And with experienced players like Coady, Bell and Docherty close to him like today I am not concerned about that.

He stood out like a sore thumb in our team , someone who would look to move the ball forward and had been introduced to a football in his previous life as something to not be completely afraid of and to not treat it like a hot potato /the plague .
I like the look of him , if he can get up to speed quickly will be decent but there’s no guarantee of that and it’s the here and now that matters.
    I like him
Phew, I thought it was just me.
I couldn't believe it when I saw the majority slagging him off.
He clearly looked our most cultured player.
Another excellent game with an assist to boot.
I wonder if many fans noticed this time?

Brilliant assist. Technically excellent. Didn’t do bad defensively either.

    Great signing

Very impressed with him, and I thought he did fine at Millwall too

    Superb today.
Got done by Fatawu a couple of times, but no disgrace in that.

    Plus people follow like sheep.
If a few people say he played rubbish, many agree because they either can't think for themselves or don't want to disagree.

Yeah i notice this herd mentality quite often. People seem to find it easier to repeat the post before using slightly different words than create any of their own thoughts.

    disgraceful

Being the saddo I am I’d picked him out as promising when he was at Wigan last year/year before. When we signed him I was pleased and knew he’d be great for us but don’t think he’ll be here beyond the end of the season as he’s too good to be a back-up to Edwards.

Hopefully he is over his injuries and stays fit as if can keep this level of performance up he'll be a very useful asset to have.

He was excellent today, can see why he was first choice, so if someone wants to snip that up form the video, do it

I used to get the Lewis coach to away games at the bottom of the hill and across the road.

Looks a good footballer. Put in the best cross I’ve seen for a while for Dykes’ goal - reminiscent of the Nabster away at Forest in 2020. Looks to have an excellent first touch too as he nestled a few raking long balls into his path and out of reach of his marker. Unlucky not to score as well with that shot he had, and I think it was him backing up Carey at the far post when Carey scored from Clarke’s cross. Certainly looked happy to get forward which added some important natural balance we’ve missed on that side.

On the commentary, Stevie Brown was very complimentary of how he was defending Fatawu as well, and I reckon Brownie knows more than most of us about how a fullback should defend.

Looks like he’s going to contribute once fully fit - hopefully we can keep him that way.

Also pre Millwall at home, It was never mentioned when Kayne Ramsay made a mistake, mainly because it didn't lead to a goal and TBF Ramsay was outstanding in many matches.
In one game he did a swing and a miss on his own goal line and because the opposition didn't score as their forwards had switched off it didn't lead to a goal and it was only mentioned by Me !
Since his brain fade when we were cruising against Millwall at the Valley, now he gets stick like everyone else!

My opinion of Ramsay is he is a decent championship player but he has a jump in style of tackling which was fine today when he did a cracking tackle running back but he will make mistakes in games and he would need to play more matches like his sublime performance at Bristol City to warrant a Premiership move. The two blocks against Wycombe in the semi final made his reputation but his two nightmares against Millwall emptied his credit. At 25 I would like to see Kayne improve with CAFC in the Championship and if Jones and Bell stay fit with bona fide wing backs then Ramsay shouldn't look as bad as in a few recent games. Not today when he was nearly the player of last season and early this season

Ramsay and his agent should believe in him and being ambitious he should've a premiership clause in any new contract but his concentration will need to stay high and keep his brain in gear !

My opinion and I'm sticking to it.

He and Clarke brought to the game what Small and TC gave us last season and what’s been missing this season. He went off and it closed down that avenue to our first half attacking play and Leicester were able to push us back more in the second half.
