Key ticketing information for the 2026/27 season

- Gold, silver and bronze category matches will remain in place this season
- New and updated zoning system from season tickets reflected in match ticket sales
- Majority of matches will be silver category pricing, with adult tickets starting at £30
- Two bronze category matches (Bolton Wanderers and Lincoln City) and two gold category matches (Portsmouth and Southampton) in the first half of the season
- Bronze category match ticket prices start at £20 for adults, gold category matches start at £35 for adults
- Majority of matches will be silver category pricing, with adult tickets starting at £30
- Two bronze category matches (Bolton Wanderers and Lincoln City) and two gold category matches (Portsmouth and Southampton) in the first half of the season
- Season ticket holders will have a 24-hour priority window starting at 11am on Thursday, July 9th to purchase additional tickets before the match goes on general sale on Friday, July 10th at 11am
- Buying a season ticket represents a saving of £300, based on attending every home Championship match and sitting in Zone 4 or the Family Stand at adult prices
- Family match ticket bundles remain, with two adults and two under-12 tickets costing just £35 for bronze category matches
- Kids for a Quid fixtures will return for the 2026/27 season too, along with six designated Schools Partnership matchdays

Last season’s Gold Prices are these season’s Silver prices. £30 and £35 in the Covered End would appear to be the norm if the majority of our games are marked up as Silver ones.
As Mentioned further up this thread people won’t be coming back in their hundreds with this price structure.Maybe if they had a membership scheme with matchday discounts for said members, but no one is none the wiser if that’s coming in anytime soon
Not forgetting the £15 pound discount for Valley Gold members who purchase a season ticket that’s been denied as it stands
We shall now await what the Gold Prices will be for the Southampton and Portsmouth games.
The Bronze prices at £20 for the 2 games v Bolton and Lincoln are fair but with both being midweek fixtures, it’s cheaper to watch it indoors on Sky Sports Plus and as been the norm for midweek evening fixtures for many years at the Valley3 -
These prices, not going to attract the newly arrived immigrant population of London, who make 41+% of London.
Even with the generous child prices this would be expensive for many, and they of course can watch their teams from back home lot cheaper than these prices.1 -
Sadly I think it’s a ticket strategy aimed at the away visitor / tourist market than building home support. It allows to push up the charge to away fans who won’t be deterred by a £5 diff in price. And similarly for overseas tourists wanting to take in a London game.
Won’t do much for getting Charlton fans in the ground, or building new Charlton fans. Flooding a load of freebies to the Community Scheme for people that have very little interest or likelihood in becoming paying fans has never done it and never will.
That West Stand will look even emptier on TV next season than it normally does8 -
the scintillating free flowing football will attract the casual floating fan even at those utterly ridiculous prices , they will dig deep to see the Temu version of Barcelona5

I wonder if more of us are at the point where the price rises backfire on the club, with more than proportional reduced discretionary spending. Charlton TV, Valley Gold, replica shirts, programmes - none of those are needed to watch a match. I recently cancelled my Charlton TV subscription as I realised I needed to keep a tighter lid on my overall Charlton spend. I don't dislike the channel but very rarely watch the paid-for content and only signed up to "help the cause"; with the club more adept at extracting money from me, my means and motive to subscribe have gone.

In terms of pricing I feel that many EFL clubs compare and set their ticket prices with those at Premier League without realising, that in terms of experience and the product, a better comparison would be the top tiers of non-league.Non-league clubs are introducing a whole host of deals including cheap season tickets, ticket bundles and subsidised away travel to attract and keep new fans.1

Prices are a lot but I don't mind if it helps the club compete more. But a family of four wanting to attend a game is near £100 plus food drinks close to £130, going to put off most people.3
