  • I'm all Charltoned out, I'm so lost without you
I know you were right believing for so long
I'm all Charltoned out, what am I without you?
I can't be too late to say that I was so wrong

Earlier in the thread, there was talk of Lincoln biscuits. They sell these for £1 in Morrison’s but you find them in the Irish foods section. Bring back lovely memories of tea at my nan’s.
I was gonna ask about Lincolns but couldn't be arsed to read back through the whole thread. Might get me some. Two asides: anyone else notice biscuits aren't as sweet as they used to be? Secondly, ginger nuts dunked in ice cold milk. Thank me later!
  • Party Rings.
  • Can’t go wrong with this thread, no stress about left backs, or lack of transfer dealings, just pure stuffing your face with joy!

Coming up to my favourite biscuit period, Lidl’s lebkuchen range for Xmas
  • Can we shoehorn in 5-4-3-2-1's or "Taxi" or "United"s. Neither a chocolate bar or standard biscuit. Somewhere in between perhaps?
  • Malteser biscuits are my latest find. Very yummy.
  • A plain digestive with a piece of mature cheddar on it . 😀
  • Just had a Viennese Whirl, cleverly crafted biscuit exterior with a seductive chocolate inside.

the best, and most classiest biscuit known to man.

I give you that, I like plain chocolate enough to have two or three biscuits at a time, but no more.  Milk chocolate, I could eat the whole packet.
Hmmmmm, one reminder for a cause of my heart attack :'(
  • Glad this thread has been revived, can never not have enough biscuits!

Not a biscuit, but Terry's chocolate orange is delicious.

Chocolate Fingers are a nightmare, rarely buy them but if I do, I know they’ll be gone in one sitting.

Christ! I really fancy a pack now, you B’stard;)

Turnocks Caramel. Only see the standard ones down here but when i lived in Sweatie Land they had different types... Heaven.

Must be from the fridge though to give you a challenge.
  • Fruit shortie, with a good strong cup of tea.
  • M & S Chocolate Sandwich Fingers. Used to be called Viennese when I was a kid. Love those.

  • Would be interesting to see how much people payed for the biscuits back then and now.
  • We’ve given up buying biscuits, chocolate and sweets. The I’ve gained weight over the past few years, it can’t be healthy.
On the bright side we have more money to spend on apples, carrots and other delicious healthy treats.
  • Plain Chocolate Hobnobs
    Garibaldi
    Sainsburys Ginger Snaps
Rich Tea, plain but a good dunking product.
  • I quite like those pink wafer things, wife buys them but I'm happy to snaffle a few.
  • Dirty milk chocolate hon nob every time...

  • and what's all this rubbish about dunking biscuits in drinks ?

drinks are for drinking, food is for eating. do not confuse or mix the two.

    pure peasant behaviour. FACT
Absolute nonsense.  Of course biscuits should be dunked. In FACT there is an art and a skill to knowing just how much to dunk each different type of biscuit without losing the end in to the tea.
  • Don't try it with Nice biscuits, you just have to mention a cup of tea and they fall apart.
