Couldn't bear to hold him in the same high regard as he deserved when he was kitted out in that lot's gear... now he's out he's back where he belongs! Certified Charlton legend forevermore!
Good luck to him. he is too good to receive the vitriol he receieved for getting a two bob team tenth in The Premiership.
I really feel this is also a part of the Man City syndrome. Those clubs who are perennially fifth to tenth have been spending £100m+ to try to get into the top four. They now have to decide whether to spend £300m+. if the answers no then why spend at all hence clubs like WHU will sell their best or most expensive players.
Hardly surprising he's gone. He didn't want to sell Ferdinand or Zamora but they were sold. He then said there would be no more sales and they went and sold McCartney on deadline day. If you're not going to be completely in charge then why stay?
he took a job at the club he loved and supported as a boy all of us knew he was westham the way the fans and board have treated that man is discusting i hope we swap places with the eastlondon mugs

Confirmed?
Does surprise me. Not that he's gone but that he resigned. He'll be in work sooner than later.
Nice quiet, steady job going in NE England I hear.
not confirmed online yet
I'll wait for the BBC :-)

Stop a second all of you and think. it's not only Curbs who could go back to his old club where he was a success.
