  • They are suicidal if they bring in Di Canio. The only manager of a team they have actually beat this season!
  • Please Curbs, don't go there!
  • Would love to see Pardew go there, but it won't happen.
  • Time for Lennie to go back?
  • I think Coleman has to be a good shout... may go and stick some on him at those odds now...
  • I'm available ;-)
  • get your money on curbs
  • Would love Curbs to go there, I'm sure he'd love to take them back to the Chamionship and get paid in the process, I know I would ! :-0
  • get your money on curbs

But what if we value money?

  • Steve Coppell is not on the list, working at Crawley as Director of Football
  • curbs job if he wants it
  • Former player lives locally presently managing another London club.

    Anyone come to mind?
  • Wonder what the reaction would be on here if Curbs did take the job. A charlton legend can't go there surely.

    Edgar Davids?
  • Curbs is not Harry redknapp, he is a dignified man that won't tread on others to get something good for himself. (Arry going soton backstabbing those good fans of Portsmouth)

The palace job would be rubbish anyway even objectively without the rivalry.

    Nothing in it for him.

  • Curbs will not go to Palace, simple as that. Stop worrying people. If he's been holding out for a good job for this long, do you really think he's gonna walk into that disaster zone and soon to be Championship club? Not a chance.
  • prem club

    in London

    needs saving

not out of staying up by a long shot

everything to gain nothing to lose for curbs

been away from us for ages and ages why wouldn't he go there

Should have added Crystal Palace between "former" and "player"

A sane Board with money at a club close to his home might have some appeal....

RT “@Official_CPFC: IH: Someone new coming in now with a tad more experience at this level will have 30 games left.” #CPFC

    Well that's Powell ruled out...

Read it as a former palace player.

Davids played for palace albeit briefly.

Davids was there for a bit wasn't he?
  • Holloway's comments seem to rule out Di Canio and you would think, Warnock (wasn't in the Prem long was he?). I'll go with Pulis now...

I didn't know that or, if I did, didn't remember it anyway!

What's the problem? They're higher in the league than most thought they'd be.

    LOL! Nice one.

  • The only downside is that this means we'll have to see more of Holloway on the TV now as a pundit playing that straight talking, salt of the earth character that he's developed.
  • Brings to mind Owen Garven's tweet on 2 Septemeber when he found out he wasn't in the 25 man squad.

Something like "I'll be here longer than him"

Seems the IH walked so credit to him and the CP chair for handling it with dignity and a quick press conference
  • Ha, I've just been driving back to office and listening to the 5Live Monday Night Club podcast on which Steve Parish is preaching patience and giving his full backing to Holloway, so very dignified to then sack him 48hrs later.
