Didn't they get a fan chucked out for racialy abusing BWP in the friendly a few seasons back ?
Is that a fact or just a made up claim trying to smear Millwall? Odd that you'd even know about it if it happened and even remember it.
Still, probably not as bad abuse as the Charlton Lisbie song or the mass morning arrests the police made with your chairman last year, eh?
Sorry matey, but trying to deflect the blame aint gonna work - Scumwall should just be shut and left to history. They have been partly responsible for the reputation that English football has globally, and to be honest, i dont want anything to do with what they bring to the table. About 10 years ago i went with a Hartlepool fan to the New Den, and about 100 scumbags on either side of the 'sides' of the ground spent the whole game just mouthing abuse at Poolies, and trying to get into the away end. TBH , in my eyes, people like these deserve no position in our society and deserve to live the rest of their life alongside Goldfish- where their IQ's match.

What on earth have goldfish done to deserve that insult. Think you need to retract ;0)
Some of our fans were apparantly disgustingly racist last season Fulham away in the cup, amongst other things chanting 'There's only one Gary Dobson', filmed I believe on the underground railway. I think there may be proportionally more, errrrm, unreconstructed lumpen morons at Millwall than at Charlton, but we do have some. Maybe the difference is I do care that we are besmirched in this way, and want to see a quick end to it. I do sense some Millwall fans are always on the defensive, but then again they sing: 'No one likes us, we don't care'.
Yes, even Sparrow jumps to let's see if they can proof it argument. Millwall is a cauldren of hate; we've all witnesssed over the years and it does represent what's bad about the English game. Of course, we have problems but the majority of our fans want to isolate it and get rid. Is that the same at Millwall? No; they always think they are hard done by and, in my opinion, never really looked to stamp it out. The no one like us stand is deep in their culture. Horrible place.
Millwall are a strange club. The focus of fans attention at The Den is as much on the away support as on the match itself. It seems to me that they feel obliged to try to make the atmosphere as hostile and unpleasant as possible because they think that the intimidation of the away team gives them an advantage. The feeling is that you have to be old school "wall" and if you're not into that and all that goes with it then you are letting them down. The fan base is steady at 8000 or so and rises and falls with any degree of success or failure. Can't see how they hope to significantly improve on that given the changing demographic around The Den and the unpleasant feel to the place.
see an old bill program during the week about the police operation for the scum at leeds , the usual retard chants of 'istanbul, istanbul . istanbul' and 'always look out for turks carrying knives' two clubs who deserve each other ..
Why is it always Millwall that have this problem, last year Muamba made a similar comment?
Growing up I was taken to the Den by an old school friend almost as much as going to the Valley,I could never relate to the atmosphere there and felt that it was pretty borderline in terms of acceptability.
In answer to SLL, our club actively assisted in those arrests following the Fulham game,I have never seen the Spanners take such a public stand against a similar group of their fans.

Difference is they seem to reveal in it as we actively do something to stop it.
Just look at the first post of this topic, trouble at the Den and it's described as 'Passion and Enthusiam' and how Jackett actually likes it.
I'm not saying that throwing things on the pitch is the same as racially abusing the opposition, but if a leading figure at the club excuses the actions of brain dead knuckle draggers, how can other football fans assume anything else but that The Den is just the stain in the football league?

Sorry mate, please explain how these 100 12-16 year olds attempted to fly the 50 feet gap between the home & away stand? Nothing like a bit of exaggeration is there. The only way you can attempt to get into the away end is to go to the lower tier, in the concourse and try & kick down the 4m high metal gates. I guess you stood there watching them. Zzz.

Can't recall any of our fans being filmed on public transport signing anti-Lawrence songs and pro-Dobson ones.
We've had people nicked & banned for racial abuse as the police statistics show, so surely that means the club is doing something?
It's also a club that have had an immigrant chairman, a black female executive, a current foreign chairman, a black man heading up our commercial team http://www.voice-online.co.uk/article/life-lions and have voted a black player of the season for 4 of the last 10 seasons. It's also a set of fans who all stood to applause & chant Danny Shittu at the end of the game as he walked to every side of the ground to applaud us after an immense performance.
Hardly the reflection one would expect on what appears to be a club full of hate, viciousness and racism is it. The deep rooted prejudiced views on here are no different to what you accuse Millwall fans of, as many of you lap up the headlines and believe every thing you read, whether it's true or not, whilst trotting out the same tired accusations whilst accusing us of the same!

Don't see anything wrong with that to be honest. Many clubs look to make their ground hostile and intimidate the opposition. Christ, Stoke City are applauded for it. Portsmouth, Cardiff, Leeds, Middlesbrough, Everton, West Ham, Tottenham etc are all places that used to make the away team know they were in for a battle. Just take a look at every changing room at grounds up & down the country. The home one is far better than the away one. Why? To make it uninviting. Hostile. Uncomfortable. Why do home teams prefer shooting a particular direction in the 2nd half? Cos their fans are behind the goal encouraging them up to the 90th minute.
Intimidation & hostility does give an advantage. God, I remember going to play football at rough schools who had a reputation, you were more wary, more on edge, same as playing Sunday football against a team with a rep. The thing is, you may know nothing at all about this. You don't have that atmosphere at Charlton so you've never seen the affect it can have.
You must get so pissed off defending some of the scum who support your Club SLL - I don't know why you bother.
IF someone did say what was alleged then I ain't defending that. It's embarrassing for that person & ignorant. I fail to see what Millwall FC can do to control it though, other than ban them. That's about as much as they can do. It's society that has failed to educate someone.
"The Korean"? Nice. Good job you never said "The African", eh?
What's your problem? Why would I call a Korean an African? Why would I call an Englishman a Scotsman?
You know exactly what I mean. Mug.
No I don't. I don't know the gentlemans name so don't know how to spell it. Rather than opening up another tab & searching for the match report just to copy & paste his name in to make the sentence 100% accurate, I called him the Korean. I guess I should have said South Korean.
If I'd have called him Chungy, would you have also termed that as not being very nice? As that's what Sordell called him.
How the fuck can describing someone by their nationality be termed offensive?
There was an Englishman, Scotsman and an Irishman....oops, sorry, I guess that's offensive.
Sparrows please take this as the way its intended GO F+CK YOURSLF AND EVERYONE OF YOUR SCUM BAG "No ONE LIKES US" RABBLE
blight on south london.
I hope they burn that shit hole down and every one thats ever taken a hiding, been ,stabbed knocked out visited in a boozer or the late knocks on the door can go there and piss on the ashes of your shit hole.
Sparrows I wouldn't worry what people on here say, referring to people by there nationality is not offensive or racist, Doesnt matter what club in what country there will always be racist fans. We have racist fans Fulham game just one example.

Don't be so wilfully disingenuous. You know full well that it's the context you say something in that defines it as offensive. You deliberately went out of your way to refer to him as 'the Korean' because you knew full well that if you'd referred to Afobe as 'the African' youd have been pulled on it and you know it. Stop trying to pretend you said it for any other reason than you could get away with it. And I don't give a toss what you post next - nothing you say will mark you out as anything other than a sad bigot.
Anyway - why are you bothered about this? If you're a Millwall fan, dont you revel in the fact that no one likes you? Don't you take great delight in reminding people that you don't care? Maybe you should hand back your little persecution complex/insouciance badge back to the local branch of the SE1 Muppetshow Supporters' Club?

Why are you defending these people though. You know it happens - why would an opposition player make it up?
It's about time the Millwall fans themselves did something to stop this cancer.
