I like him, excellent bench player, but needs to be kept on his toes. From what I've seen he struggles in that he's not quite exactly the mould for traditional positions. When he came on against us for Ipswich in 07-08, at The Valley, he almost turned the match, operating behind Lee and running inbetween our mid and defence. He has to be more central, and you have to use his game breaking pace where he's running with ball or breaking around the edge of the final third. Personally we're well setup for a fluid 4-5-1/4-3-3. Especially if we get N'Guessan.
Two of three with Green, N'Guessan or Haynes playing off Kermorgant has potential for all to score 10-12 goals each with decent backup. We'd have to keep Hayes as backup, or definitely replace him as that formation needs someone who can pivot the offensive game. JJ, Stephens and Holland are potentially an excellent midfield 3 combo. However we play next season what is certain, is that without significant positional improvement by Stephens we will lose many games we could win with the gaping hole he leaves in cm.
