Sure I said before - when we were doing crepes at weddings at our friend's venue, there was a mob from Cheshire in and me and the Mrs got talking to a lady who practically stood by our crepe trailer all night. When the cabs started turning up and all the guests starture walking over, she said, "oh, let me introduce you to my husband", I looked up and from behind our little marquee wall come Ian Dowie's swede. I nearly past out

    Yeah that an all.

Tbh though his wife is really nice. She was talking about the cancer charity she runs and I think she started. Had no inkling Dowie was even at the wedding in deepest darkest France, let alone it was his wife we were speaking to, so when she called him I over to meet us and his canister appeared from behind the canvas about a meter away from me, it was just weird

Used to live two doors away from Mark Reid in Erith when i was a kid. Peter Shirtliff lived opposite my mate just up the road.
Had a shooting training session from Paul Walsh at Alan Mullerys soccer world, he also dated my friends older sister.
Went to a party for Keith Peacocks daughter at his house, was about 12 yo.
Used to socialise with Sweaty Balmer, pub in Erith and Deja Vu nightclub a few times. Think Webster got carried out the world darts at Lakeside years ago. My mates went but i couldn't make it.

Bryan Hughes shopping with Mrs in Selfridges

I love it how some of these threads are resurrected from ages ago. This thread started in 2006 and came back to life in 2020. There’s some names on here that we haven’t seen for a while. @BlackForestReds was a regular poster from the NetAddicks days but he hasn’t been seen on here since 2013. Hope he’s ok.

Anyway, back on topic .. I saw Reza in Bluewater once. January sales. He looked well out of place in a gangsta tracksuit, sunglasses and a massive gold chain

I saw David Whyte (RIP) on the table next to us in Rileys snooker club in Catford back in the day with what looked like his dad. Had his leg in plaster as was injured at the time. Ruined my game it did. Turned me from "shit" to "utterly dogshit".

after the recent Darren Bent sightings, where have you seen Charlton players ?

Once had a beer with Colin Walsh in the Camden in Bexleyheath. Had a nice chat, then he panicked half way through and i had to get my work pass out to prove i wasn't a journo !
15 years on from that post and it’s still only Colin Walsh, though recent spotting has been at my golf club rather than pub!
