    Does anyone know our H2hs vs Welling in pre-season friendlies with dates? I seem to remember the 3-0, 4-0 and that's about it.. a 1-1 draw too. Thanks in advance

    All a bit vague, I'm afraid - but we scored five or six a few years ago. It was especially fun a couple of years back when we had about 16 new players - from the terraces we didn't have a clue who anyone was; you can never hear the tannoy and we'd had numerous sherbets....

    Can anyone recommend a good pub local to Welling? I note that the new pub-in-converted-shop, the Door Hinge, is close to the ground - wide range of ales from microbreweries. Want something a cut above the Guy or the Spoons. Could go to Bexleyheath for the Robin Hood & Little John, I suppose. Suggestions, please.

    I had researched this earlier today for the match preview on the O/S.
    These are the results since the friendly became 'tradition' in 2002:
    2012: 4-0
    2011: 3-0
    2010: 1-0
    2009: 1-1
    2008: 1-0
    2007:0-0
    2006: 0-1
    2005: 1-1
    2004: 8-0
    2003: 1-1 (Interestingly, George Boyd scored for Welling that day)
    2002: 5-1

    I've decided to go today, due to the weather, but have never been before. Just wondering if i would more than likely be able to get a ticket on turnstile

    I don't believe it has ever sold out, but it certainly won't today.
