  • It was horrible being out there today, my heart goes out to all those who have been adversely affected by these storms. I reiterate what I said before please be careful everyone and please if you can look out for elderly and/or disabled neighbours that may need help or just feel anxious.

Watching the local weather now on the BBC by the lovely Georgina Burnett. Not looking good for the next few days unlike miss Burnett
  • Games at City and Everton both off due to weather.
  • Just got back from a run along the prom. Sea's very lumpy and it was very, very windy but no rain until about 25 minutes in. No big deal but within 30 seconds it turns to feck off lumps of hail being driven into my mush at about 60 miles an hour.

Lasted about 2 more minutes before calling it a day but 2 minutes too long as when I got in the missus thought I'd been mugged or fallen over or something due to the scraps and scratches all over my face. Didn't really feel that bad at the time but in hindsight the coldness must have numbed it. Doh.

Friday's going to be crazy down here apparently.
  • Just flew into London City, that was a rather bumpy ride !
  • More floods predicted for tomorrow. I haven't got my wife anything for Valentines day.
  • As a nice aside, some large Feeeesh (50x 15lb+) have been rescued from the receding floodwater on Worcester racecourse.

    Nice pair of pike
  • Some people do take their course fishing rather too literally.
