  • another big AFC game this weekend ... Denver v KC .. a probable decider in 'the west'

A terrific comeback by Denver to win this in what was a terrific game
  • Texans have sacked their head-coach after 11 straight losses.
  • hope the Seahawks can keep it going.
  • Got me raiders tickets

Better off renaming them back to the Oilers imo
  • Texans are a strange team. Kubiak has been a good coach for them - they allowed him to build, and they had a great team last year. This year, benching Schaub was bizarre - I think the fans wanted Keenum because he was a hometown boy, so the pressure on Kubiak to keep him in when Schaub got over his foot surgery must have been intense emough for him to make the mistake of keeping him in. Keenum has great potential, but Schaub is a top QB now, who would walk into a starting role at many teams - he just got unlucky with some pick sixes early on in the season.

That Broncos/Chiefs game was an absolute clinic from Denver for the second and third quarter. Best they've played in weeks. Should sow up first seed in the playoffs - and mean Peyton doesn't have to play in New England (although Colorado isn't exactly warm in January!)
  • Yeah don't understand why weather a factor if in New England but not in Denver.
  • Who cares, let's go Pats!

We've been awful this year, but we keep on clawing a win from the jaws of defeat
  • Cor blimey, the good old Oilers, i can remeber when them and the falcons were so rubbish it was a big thing if they won two games a season.
  • Pats win on a dodgy call, lost on a dodgy call to the Panthers earlier on so it evens out a bit, however the way they have played this season they could be 3-10 instead of 10-3

  • Field goal record beaten at Denver last night. 64 yards beats three at 63. Two of the previous three were also at altitude in Denver.

Green Bay turning it around at half time in Dallas. 26 - 3 down at half time, winning 37 - 36. The second games on Sky this year have often been excellent.
  • Damn Peyton Manning - you are ridiculous. Just know the Broncos are going to tank in the divisional playoff, but what a great year to be a Denver fan.

My team the Broncos , defo theirs to loose this year. Setting all kinds of records offensively.

My team too - followed them for nearly 30 years. First round exit - guaranteed. D line is average, secondary banged up and no idea how to contain teams when they have strong offenses. Would love it not to be the case, but high powered offensive teams very rarely do well in the playoffs. Offense scores points, defense wins games.
  • Losing Von Miller is the big problem for them. Would love to be wrong but like you Leroy I know what the Broncos are like.
  • 6-0 without Miller in the lineup early on this year suggests he doesn't make an enormous difference - but the schedule early on was very favourable. When he returned, the defense was definitely a tougher proposition, and even though he was a step down when he came back, he still contributed. For me, the biggest surprise is that after losing Clady, the offensive line hasn't been as porous as I thought it would. Shows you what a good job the coaching staff has done.

My main worry would be coming up against a team like the Bengals - their defense has the ability to stifle Manning or - please no - the Steelers.
  • Oh god no - it's happening. All the Chargers had to do was beat the Chiefs' practice squad and they're throwing it away. Now the damn Steelers will get in the playoffs...
  • Even as a raiders fan I want broncos this year. Manning deserves to have more than one Super Bowl ring. Still think a patriots 49ers final though

  • Seahawks all the way. The complete team.
  • Nah, will bottle it in front of 'The noisiest fans in the world'

    Maybe.
  • Don't the Chiefs and the Seahawks both claim they have the noisiest fans in the world? Pretty impressive, considering both teams have been absolute dreck for almost the whole of living memory...
  • Yesssssssss. Chargers finally win. Bye bye Steelers!
  • Pam Oliver's weave is mercifully hidden this week. Shame it's by a hat that looks like a child knitted it in the dark. Damn, that woman cannot dress.

They both keep beating the record but think if is pretty organised to be fair. North upper is sixth.

    Thank god Chargers won !
  • Just need Eagles to win now.
  • Three firings on black monday already and thankfully one is Mike Shanahan. Hopefully the next coach has some sort of thought on building a defence and doesn't hate our star quarterback.
  • Broncos on fire .. flaming horses !! .. scores galore .. problem is I had a fiver on the Bengals
  • Leroy I thought you was a Pittsburgh man??

Eagles won, play off football back in Philly, although I'm not entirely sure we'll beat the Saints. Hoping for it to be a cold one at the Lincoln that day!
