Isn't that kinda the equivalent of sending Stoke to play Norwich in America? Hardly big names.
The Raiders have won 3 Superbowls....
The last one in 1983. So they're basically Nottingham Forest. Would any Americans be excited to see them play in 2013?
So called "famous" teams like the Redskins havent won anything since 1981, the Miami Dolphins havent won anything since 1973, the Cowboys since 1995.
So the point is you should bring only bring teams over that have won a Superbowl or two in the last 5-10 years and preferably are also the Giants/Patriots/Packers?
How many kids in London do you see wearing Raiders gear? I see them everyday, they might not be fans but the team logo is pretty iconic...
Unfortunately those teams that get 80,000+ (ie the likes of the Giants/Cowboys etc....) wouldnt be happy to give up a home game for a wembley game, especially when you only get 8 home games a season anyways, excluding playoff/preseason games. It could happen if they came as the away team as the Giants did in 2007....
^^^^ a good post with lots of very valid points .. the main beauty of the NFL is its ever changing hierarchy although some clubs in the more remote cities with small populations and with less income from the media will always struggle against the big city, especially East Coast teams, not forgetting SF of course
As much as I would love to see a Redskins game, i would hate to see them play at Wembley playing a "home" game as it gives up so many advantages that they gain at home.

Kansas. Beat raiders to go 6-0 after being 2-14 last year. Steelers win their first game. But looking forward to Peyton retuning to Indianapolis next week.
Manning's made some rank bad throws in this game. Plus, even as a Broncos fan, I think that's f****ing pathetic from DRC - High stepping it into the end zone from the halfway line. You can tell Elway wasn't impressed by it.
