    If we genuinely bid £1.5m for anybody, let alone Gradel, I am very impressed with the intent being shown. A new chapter is opening and it is nice to have this excited feeling again. If RD did not come in, I suspect those that have been sold would have gone for less just to help finances til the summer. Whilst saddened about some losses, am heartened by the newbies - welcome lads!

    If there is no mid-field signing tonight it is quite possible that there still could be a loan signing from within the RD "network" after the transfer window has closed. And we can expect them to show more commitment than some of the loanees we have had in the past.
