That is also what I thought, which is why I'm sort of doubting what the Mirror journo has said. S.Jackson did apparently turn us down a few days ago though so I wouldn't be surprised if it was true either.

We look very short in midfield. I'm sure we've been trying but have perhaps set our sights too high with the likes of Gradel.

Can only hope that we look to do something once the loan window opens. Will be very surprised if we pull one out of the hat at this late hour.
