Right there NLA, and it's the same with Kermo. If talks are on he will not play either.

This could turn out to be a very depressing evening.
  • Did we not have all this last year?

With all these rumours upsetting the team might be worth a bet on donny tonight ..............................or maybe its donny fans putting them out there lol .

On the other hand, the players might see this as the last opportunity to put themselves in the shop window before Friday

Hope thats the case 0-5 to us then stopping at bookies on way. ;-)

We should let DS go if it's a decent offer.

Loses the ball too much, positional awareness is poor - hence he has a poor tackle-back hit rate.

Also, - you play for Oldham, get bought by Charlton..........and get homesick ????????

    Do me a favour !

Every window at least in the last few years.

Thinking about it though, why would any of these players leave with an FA Cup Final to look forward to?

    And European football of course.

    Sint Truidense loan?

I fear that Duchatelet might badly misjudge the perils of this relegation scrap, for which we need tough and experienced men. That said, Donny weren't much cop at our place (the 2-0, not the 1-3), and I reckon we'll sneak this, 2-1.

Because we might lose some others.

    Maybe

    Possibly

    Something about Aunt. Bollocks. Uncle.

If Stephens goes I would be surprised if we didn't have someone lined up. Alternatively maybe Poyet is ready to step up. Or Hughes. Or Gower. Or Ajdarevic.
  • Its going to be really interesting to see the line up for the game tonight.

Agree with this. Yann going would be terrible. Stephens going doesn't bother me too much. Has looked marginally better this season, however, still gives the ball away and lightweight. If he's out of contract in the summer, and we get 500k, that's good business. The only problem I foresee is having a better replacement. I cringe at the thought of just Jackson, Pritchard or Gower back in there with Cousins. IF there is a replacement, then this should happen.

Southend & a number of other League Two sides want to sign Charlton midfielder Mark Gower. #southendunited #cafc

Stephens and Cousins are also the best thing about the team this season and have developed a fantastic understanding and bring out the best in each other. It would be foolish on our part to rip that apart mid-season and try to start again.
  • Do not think this is RD that has caused this with dale

Dale was not ever going to sign again for us

This is because we were shister with our contract promises from last owners

Hope you are right, they aren't great but did beat Wigan 3-0 at home ten days ago. Only defeat Wigan have had in ages, also Donny have Sharp up front. I am probably being negative here, but I will be happy with a draw. We will just be one point behind with two games in hand still.

  • I don't expect mark to be playing again for us tbf

Wouldn't Dale understand this and be more receptive with new owners?

I get that. We all know it's TJ that caused this situation. Is he a goner then? Team selection tonight will be telling.

Could well be Poyet and Cousins in fro the rest of the season.

Totally agree, but it doesn't look as if we will have much choice. Brighton can offer bigger wages than we can and are a reasonable bet for the play offs. If we don't sell now he would go for nothing in the summer. I know he wanted to go back up North but that aside Brighton is a pretty good move for him.

Nothing we can do about it really is there. Shame. This has been the best he has ever played for us this season and he finally looks settled in the team.
  • Fuck you Jiminez & Slater for sorting these contracts before you fucked off, now look at the shit you are causing us. Bunch of c**ts

Reza and Loic haven't officially signed yet, Koc is going to start out at least in the U21s and Thuram is a keeper.

    So that leaves Ajdarivic

and the word is fuss : - )

I know it's been posted before, but I do love this GIF.
  • Dale would be a huge miss, him and Cousins have been the only consistent good link in this team for the majority of the season.
  • I think when the team is announced if he is in then its agent talk trying to shift villa along

But nathan jones knows what dale can do and that would explain the advanced talks stuff

We won't end up with poyet and cousins RD owns the club but powell picks the team

We have known for months dale can leave this window and a replacement will have been identified

Chill folks jim white will love all this drama
