Will Andy play with Jamie in the doubles?

Probably be Dan Ingot who'll play in the Doubles

A tricky call, Andy would expect to beat Simon on Sunday, but it's not a guaranteed victory

    It is difficult.

Ward is unlikely to beat Tsonga which, assuming Andy Murray can beat Simon, Monfils or Gasquet, makes the doubles a 'must win' if we are to prevail in the tie as a whole.

France have 4 men ranked in the top 20 so to win would be a real achievement for GB.

If Andy does play the doubles, and it turns into a gruelling 5 setter, then this might affect his performance in the singles on Sunday! France have got so much depth, I doubt Tsonga or Simon will play the doubles
  • Options
Gotta play, coz we won't win it if he doesn't and Ward won't win Sunday

But then Dom Inglot is a pretty decent doubles player. Indeed, relatively speaking we're much stronger in doubles than singles, then you consider Colin Fleming and former Wimbledon champion Jonny Marray aren't in the squad!

    The Murrays are playing.

Already a break down in the first set though.

GBR win to go 2-1 up!!

    4-6 6-3 7-6 6-1

France need to beat both Ward and Murray in the singles matches tomorrow, or Britain progress to the semi finals in September.

Goes to show what it can be like if you don't restrict large numbers of tickets being sold to poshoes in their 80s. Was the same at Wimbledon during the Olympics when Murray was playing.

Admittedly this does look a bit like younger poshoes playing at being a football crowd but looks like it'd be a fun event to be at.

Great game, well done the bruvers!

You've got to back Murray to beat either Simon or Gasquet.

You'd think so but neither are exactly mugs. Simon is very capable and Gasquet's coming off a great Wimbledon

Great atmosphere there, it's amazing how one world class player can take you so far in the Davis cup, and if we win tomorrow we have a home tie in the semis too
