Think they want to play on hard courts as its during the hard court season, don't think there are any decent sized outdoor hard court stadiums in the UK.
Needs to hold at least 8,000 - Glasgow is 7,700 capacity frustratingly so will probably be Birmingham.
Wembley Arena would be my choice or could take it to the Glasgow Hydro. Both of which can hold well over 10,000 people.
As the captain and nly players that won anything for GB in that quarter final are Scots they should play in Scotland as a way of saying "thank you Scotland".
Went today and it was amazing. Andy did look out of sorts and I wondered if he was ill as he looked pale and exhausted. However, Andy is gritty and gutsy so fought back admirably. On a funny note, we had bought tickets (without realising) in the big block of blue French fans. They were amazing in their support and singing. Really good natured and really gave the place atmosphere. After the match, they were laughing and joking with the GB group who were all dressed in the GB suits. They sang their anthem and the Brits our one as they were leaving. Good day! They announced that they will decide the venue in early August. Would the O2 be free or suitable?

He's Scottish, they all look like that :-)
Yes, those French fans did look like a good group.
The Dalai Lama is playing the O2 on the 19th September, I imagine it's the sort of venue that needs to be booked a long way in advance
We've a surplus of riches in the doubles really, when you consider we have 2 players who reached the US open semis, one reaching the final. IF today had been a harder match for Andy, I'd have been tempted to rest him tomorrow and leave him fresh for Sunday.
You played your Heart out Dan Evans. Good choice by captain. If there was a tournament for male tennis players under 5ft 9in. You would be number 1. some sublime shots but the latent power of Tomic just got him over the line.
Andy should be fresh enough to play in the double with Jamie tomorrow.

I doubt capacity will be the major factor, but rather the atmosphere
The roof would be there if required.
What?
What did I say?

Thanks, Callum
Tomic is winning 6-3 7-6 3-0.
Think we're gonna have to rely on the Murray brothers once again.
Tomic 6-3 7-6 6-7 Evans
1-1 after the first day. Doubles to come tomorrow.
Good choice by captain.
